They are not nasty, they are simply Americans.

  • Likely they are fed up with the non stop trollish threads by the same  group of forum members.

What style is yours? Can't even spell let alone discuss topics. Why don't you start an interesting topic. You are nearly always nasty for some reason. What's your problem? Learn to type in English then be nice to people.

I think some people say nasty things just to inflame others, for their own perverted entertainment.

I think it's because they don't do much in Thailand therefore can't hold a conversation.

Simple Americans, a subset more like.

Every thread is "trollish" by the standard of this group. No one seems to be able to define what constitutes a "troll".

Arguing isn't inherently bad.

People have different viewpoints, so it's normal for people's ideas to clash.

You make it seem like arguing implies a psychological disorder.

What's next? You will start handing out prescription meds to anyone who disagrees with you?

Disagree is fine. Just have a normal conversation. "Another stupid topic" is not normal conversation.

Good poster - Khunla for example can hold a conversation.

Bad poster - i wont name names but will just write trash.

Providing false info, just to create an argurment, instead of a discussion of different POV.   The inability to agree to disagree with an 'opinion', instead insulting the other, thinking thar makes one's opinion the correct one, instead of simply different.

Overuse of the Internet makes people unhappy. It's best to limit use of the internet for entertainment and use it as a practical/productive tool.

Often used by people without just cause.

A perfect example of the "America-bashing" that goes on here. Totally ignored by those in power.

But it's common all over the net, some of the nastiness on Facebook is just as over the top as what people post on here. Sign of the times, and unfortunately I think it's only going to get worse. All we can do is not respond to them.

I don't read Thai, so don't really know. But considering the motto of Thailand is: "Thai love Thai" I doubt it happens much, and nothing like the hatred of the know it all westerners.

If it werent for those people i would not be here. So much fun abusing them

it's the anonymity, as 99% of the offensive BS wouldn't be stated in a face to face conversation.

Unlike myself, except for my legal name, I'm an open book, and anyone not a complete idiot, could easily (though not recommended) knock on my front door.  Don't think there's much, if any, that I wouldn't state to someone in person.

I just ignore people for the keyboard warriors that that are, either don't reply, or if never having anything of interest to post, use the ignore list.   Took a while to follow my own advice, and how I got to 26k+ post, as more than half was probably wasted on trolls.

Don't know about therapy, but it's a lot safer for them :cheesy:

Along with less expensive for bar owners, not needing to replace pool sticks ever week :coffee1:

Your user-name fits you well. Do you kick the dogs lying in front of 7-11 on your way in and out?

Depends if the dog is a trump hater

Yes, but that's also a good thing.

Because in real face to face interactions, there may be too many fake niceties to avoid confrontation.

If I GENUINELY think your opinion on sth is stupid, should I refrain from mentioning it?

It depends how you go through life. You CAN go out of your way to avoid confrontation at all costs, but the reality is that people rub each other the wrong way and sometimes some degree of friction isn't necessarily a bad thing.

But there's a difference between being nasty for no apparent reason just because you're hiding behind a keyboard and you want to be an ahole.

Agree and never met a stranger or one 'off the forum' that wasn't.  I've avoided a few I know from a forum, as I know it wouldn't end pleasant for either of us.  I not a fan of jail, overnights are enough of an experience for me, no need for a longer stretch.

Sometimes I actually do use good judgement 🙄

Not me, I avoid white people.

Australians, & Brits, covered in tattoos and always looking for a fight.

Americans, just want to tell you how much money they are making.

Canadians, too soft and woke.

Most appear broke and are always looking for a handout.

That's very thoughtful of you. I'm sure white people everywhere appreciate it.
