Just when we thought things couldn't get any worse with all the confusion about the Trump taxes (tariff policy), the resulting drop in the dollar, the drop in demand for US bonds and mayhem within US corporations in regard to trying to establish a policy based on an incohesive president and whipsaw policies, now Trump announces a $100,000 visa fee for highly skilled individuals to come and work within the US.

 

South Korea agreed to spend hundreds of billions of dollars on manufacturing facilities within the US, in exchange for a lower tariff rate, and what did they get in return? A raid by the mad and out of control ICE agents with high caliber weapons, arresting and shackling highly skilled South Korean engineers, who are in the US legally working to build the US plants that Trump has been talking about for the last 8 years! 

 

Does it get any more insane than this? How is an ally supposed to depend on the US after they've made a commitment to spend a fortune, and after an agreement has been made to invest, when their citizens are treated like street trash by a completely confused, grossly incompetent and over the top administration?

 

 

The USA degraded to unstable banana republic status.

Obviously USA democracy probably fatally wounded.

Recession for sure.

Global depression maybe.

Bigger wars with global implications despite the silly man claiming he has ended 100 wars.

More starvation.

More disease.

More mass migration of refugees. 

No action on climate change issues.

More Putin style governments globally.

Whats been.happening on stock markets? Last 6 months? Should be a good check as to whether the OP is sincere or just more fantasy raving.

 

 

Watch this, someone will be on in the minute with same lame response....and all the factors listed above can be ignored with the statement ...but look at the stock market.

Not at all. The stock markets are just one simple indicator, there has been a lot of profit taking going on, a lot of stock buy backs, and countless other reasons. Even many stock brokers and financial advisors are warning of a major correction that could be happening fairly soon. 

 

The real question is with real estate prices being very high, a lot of people having significant equity in their homes, and the stock market at an all-time high, why is consumer confidence so low? Answer that one.

Things were headed this way anyway.

But there is no doubt that Trump is acting as a rapid accelerator and has bizarrely done many totally insane own goals ( for the country but wins for his family's fortunes).

I totally agree, in general I believe America's been on the decline for at least 30 years, and the last five years have been very difficult for the middle class and the average American. The top 10% are doing great, the next 20% are doing okay, and fully 70% are having a really hard time. Prices are soaring, Trump Has broken hundreds of promises, including his promise to bring down food prices, prescription drug prices, healthcare costs and other commodities.

 

Inflation has gone up rather than down, under the clown. He cares not one iota for the average American, nor for his supporters. It's all about money for him, it always has been, it always will be. The golden calf is the altar upon which he worships, he knows nothing of spirit on any level. His speech and his behavior demonstrate that on a daily basis. 

Haven't read about 1 yet, though could do without wasting money on Israel & Ukraine, though good for the economy, I guess.
