They sound like a bunch scared guilty criminals for criminally abusing the law to attempt to incarcerate their political enemy and never thought it would ever backfire on them.

This post is a good example of the current party line rhetoric.

- make up a witch hunt by Dems against Trump (Trump was indicted by grand juries for things he actually did)

- use this fake witch hunt argument to justify an actual witch hunt directly and openly ordered by Trump, for imaginary crimes that Trump is even unable to name! 🤣

This man is a hateful freak and if he is allowed to he will run amok over every aspect of democracy the US has ever known. He needs to be stopped.

I remember a rather quaint statement he made sometime ago about trying to unite the people of America. This is his most recent statement at Charlie Kirk's funeral no less.

But the US president broke with her forgiveness message to say he disagreed with Charlie Kirk's view of wanting the best for his opponent.

"I hate my opponent and I don't want the best for them," he said, adding: "I'm sorry, Erika." His reflections on hate were a contrast to the words spoken by Ms Kirk earlier, who delivered perhaps the most powerful moment of the service.

The president then said he disagreed with Kirk on one thing. "He did not hate his opponents, he wanted the best for them," he said, prompting some laughs. "That's where I disagree with Charlie. I hate my opponents and I don't want what's best for them.

What a nasty piece of work. I wonder what drives that level of pathological hatred? My guess he's wakes up every morning so miserable, that he simply has to vent on whoever he can. And he sure does.

The problem is thaipo is we all saw him commit the crimes he’s accused of,that’s why he’s so slippery in getting the felon into court because he gets convicted.this is very similar to his other transgressions in the sense that we have him on tape essentially defecting on our constitution.you can love the guy I don’t care,as for me he’s far and away the most corrupt person ever to occupy the office and at best it will take decades to repair the damage he caused.heres a clue thaipo …..the good guys don’t burn food that’s supposed to go to starving children…..that’s just one example among many.sad

I am frankly baffled by people who vote for those who portray themselves like this. They must have deep rooted masochistic tendencies that I simply can't identify with. Even the Farage shysterclown is smart enough to gurn a smile onto his gob in public.

It is clear that Trump means no good for anyone and he has proven it in conveyor belt style. Everyone who's come close to him so far winds up trashed and ruined within a relatively short space of time.  Now it looks like he's doing it to the whole country.

The cult all think it won't affect them. History shows otherwise.

Reality Check /attorneys with integrity are quitting/resigning when after looking at the facts decline to persecute someone on spurious claims.this gets the FELON outraged because he not getting his revenge on someone who in doing their job and were attempting to uphold the law.

I did a cursory search and couldn't find anything black and white. During all our lifetimes, it has never been acceptable for the president to direct the DOJ as is being done now.

Is it illegal to do so?

Does anyone have a link that could explain this definitively?

These things no longer mean anything.  It's the time of the unitary executive, president does not have rules -- it is the US term for authoritarian gov't.  US political mavens come up with new words that they hope will not leave a bad taste in the mouth after saying them, the first such I recall was in the 1970s there was an economic depression (like the one from the 1930s people still talked about at that time)  but they called it a recession.  And of course the people who support this are the ones currently in power -- if another party gains the majority and makes use of it the ones crying holy hell will be those who engendered it in the first place.

Bill Barr proudly supports the unitary executive, well, at least did while he was AG during DT's first term.  He now is on the POTUS sh_t list, and if the omnipotent monarch has him drawn and quartered (figuratively) IMO it couldn't happen to someone more deserving.

Dictatorship, what dictatorship?

How about another  word. Authoritarianism.  Trump lacks so much fundamental knowledge of how the US government works and the limited powers elected officials have he just does what he wants and then keeps looking more and more like a power hungry numb skull with average intelligence trying to grab more power. This sophomoric poser would have the US try to go back to more than a 2 term presidency so HE, yes HE could be a big shot that much longer. Just deplorable. He'll just say anything.

I knew this guy was completely unqualified when I first heard him speak campaigning for his first term. About 10 minutes into this so called "speech" it was obvious to me he in no way could be a real statesman or diplomat let along a decent representative of the USA.

My hope is that he just keeps opening his mouth and finally says something that is so shocking and over the top nobody will have any doubts he needs to be stopped in most of his outrageous agenda which appears to be about self serving at best.
