I understand that it's rare for a grand jury not to go along with a prosecutor. They already refused to indict on one of 3 charges. That means a majority said no.  I also understand that despite the fact that the prosecutor was advocating for an indictment with no one to oppose her,she only got 14 of 23 jurors to go along on the other 2 charges. Do you understand that in a criminal trial the verdict of the jury has to be unanimous? That doesn't bode well for the prosecution.

What evidence was presented to the grand jury

With this question, you've outdone yourself. And that's a very low high bar.

How is this different from the situation that Mike Flynn faced?

Irrelevant. Like the clowns did with Trump, the process IS the punishment. Forcing Comey to pay a 100 million $ bond, perp walks, mug shots, cuffed and paraded, investigations extended to all family & friends, his wife lingerie drawer rifled, mocked on tv for years. The trial outcome by a Biden judge is of secondary importance. Comey and his family will be RUINED by the process, and conservatives will smugly say stuff like - if you cant do the time, dont do the crime, or everyones equal under justice. (Ring any bells??🤣)

What a magnificent time to be alive!

Isn't it ever?

BTW, have you any tips on where I can get good jackboots at a decent price?

The issue is why did you even ask that question? Do you  think it's rational that the prosecutor might have withheld some evidence?

Don't get all fired up about this.....probably won't make it to trial..........😉

Let the  left  cry together with  ,some rinos  crying!

Let the experts decide.what to do with 2019 Inspector General Horowitz report that incriminates  Comey leaking or conspiring with others  to leak sensitive docs while denying it. to undermine Trump. That in itself shows Trump didn't create the lawfare that was sitting there for 6 years .Trusty mentions this. and disagrees with McCarthy in  the Politico link.

McCarthy's  take below from a Politico report. Neglects to mention the evidence of the 2019 Inspector General report.

What evidence of criminal conduct would that be?

2019 DOJ report: "Upon completing its investigation, the OIG provided its factual findings to the Justice Department for a prosecutorial decision regarding Comey’s conduct, as required by the Inspector General Act. After reviewing the matter, the DOJ declined prosecution".

https://oig.justice.gov/news/doj-oig-releases-report-investigation-former-fbi-director-james-comeys-disclosure-sensitive

How convenient for the weaponized DOJ that battled Trump during his first term  to decline prosecution on the recommendation of factual findings by the OIG. It looks like they couldn't find a reasonable prosecutor again. Now we have a different DOJ who have presented the evidence which resulted in two charges for indictment .

The OIG concluded in its investigation of the Justice Dept that there was no plot to incriminate Trump. Typically, Federal prosecutors don't like to bring cases except where the evidence is overwhelmingly strong. That wasn't even close to being the case with Comey.

OIG Analysis, page 55 of the government PDF

The PDF, tells part of the story that nobody on the left cares to acknowledge.     Jim doesn't have the usual characters to bail him out this time. Those characters decided not to prosecute. Now there are reasonable prosecutors, something lacking in his past  DOJ. These reasonable prosecutors already got a indictment on two charges. Who knows what else they got.

Brady material only applies to criminal trials and appeals.

What does Brady material have to do with grand jury proceedings?

They got an indictment on 2 out of 3 charges. And in those 2 cases they only got 14 out of 23 grand jurors to go along. This despite the fact that there is no judge or defense lawyer to interfere with the case that the US attorney made.

Lol!

It's you who cried after the Kraken failed, after each and every GOP lawsuit claiming election fraud you touted failed, after each recount and audit failed, after the Horowitz investigation you also touted failed, after the Durham probe you touted (you even had his picture associated to your ID) failed, after the Comer/Jo4dan fake investigation failed, etc...🤣

And it's you going to cry again! 😆

Comey must appear OCT 9th thats when he poses for his Mug shot during the booking process. Its been a long time in the making, 6 years since the OIG wanted Comey to be held accountable.  Finally America First has found a reasonable prosecutor to hold him accountable.

If it takes so much work to find a prosecutor to your liking, that argues against that prosecutor being a reasonable choice. More like an outlier.

They've had years to paw over Comey's radical behavior, but Crossfire Hurricane might hold more offerings.

Mike Davis, former chief counsel for Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) and Trump ally, told The Post Friday that he believes federal prosecutors are likely to bring additional allegations against Comey, who was charged Thursday with lying to Congress and obstruction of justice.

“I imagine there will be a superseding indictment on this case, and I’m pushing very hard for the Crossfire Hurricane investigation to get moving,” Davis said.

What? Are you saying that a prosecutor cannot offer Brady material in a grand jury?

Are their situations where a prosecutor must offer Brady material? Do you even know what Brady material is?

Why would a prosecutor want to offer Brady material to Comey's grand jury? How does evidence that a prosecutor offers to a grand jury even qualify as Brady material?

Deflecting much?

If Comey has leaked classified information, or if Comey has authorized/directed someone else to leak classifyied information, should he be prosecuted?
