A 42-year-old Texas man is facing federal charges after allegedly threatening to shoot up the Abilene Pride Parade as revenge for the recent assassination of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.

“fk their parade, I say we lock and load and pay them back for taking out Charlie Kirk,” Joshua Cole wrote in a September 18 message to a Facebook friend, according to an FBI probable cause affidavit reviewed by The Independent.

“... [C]ome on bro let’s go hunting fairies,” he wrote, the affidavit says.

well, I guess one of the good things of mass media, and various web sites is that if somebody posts threats, assault actions, blabs about the harmful things they are thinking of, it can be seen or detected by law enforcement and the bad things can be stopped before they happen.

Oh, is he/she/it Texan? That explains a lot.

Another MAGA maniac.  I doubt we shall see Trump condemning this terrorist.

Or yagoda?

Now watch the number of Repub politicians going to the pulpit and raising bail.

Every group has its crazies.  Conservatives don't celebrate ours, or hit the streets protesting to demand their release, or raise bail for them.

Great job. Lock the guy up. SuperMax for all domestic terrorists. There are innocent, decent people at those Pride Events, even if the movement have been coopted by radical terrorist organizations. Great job cops!

You mean like storming the Capitol demanding to overturn an election with zip tie cuffs, smearing excrement on the walls, chanting to hang the VP?

Oh Lord.  That was one stoopid protest on one day, contrasted with 8700 protests over months and months for the Summer of Love.  I'd add that they all left their guns at home.  Worst insurrection in the history of insurrections.

And 5 years later, you're still throwing that up as if it was the equal of Pearl Harbor and 9/11.  And don't forget that 18 states and over 150 congressmen agreed that there were enough election irregularities to delay the proceedings and investigate those irregularities.  They all signed Amicus Briefs to that effect.

Can you see why Pelosi turned down Trump's offer of extra security on the day?  And why 274 plain clothes FBI agents on the scene didn't stop it?  They wanted it to happen. So they could throw it up in conservative faces for the next 20 years.  Lefties can burn down entire cities and we'll still be hearing about Jan6.
