Good analogy. Rugby fans are very classy because rugby is a game of guts, grit and determination, whereas EPL'ers, same as their overpaid, Bentley and Lambo driving prima dona ballet dancers players, are as thick as **** in a bottle

I recall the US Ryder gallery has always been a rowdy affair compared to the home crowd in Europe, but it seems this year, they have been particularly churlish, boorish and offensive, and it has rubbed-off on some of their own 'star' players.

I read Barrie Mcdermott's Auto biography where one of his team mates commented " Once Baz puts his shirt on he will knock your head off then at the final Whistle he will help you find it " Rugby fans are not seggreagated in a Stadium thats the diff between football fans and Rugby league fans.

What i did noice was the Ammount of Armed Police around the course and having to escort players to the Tee's. Most Golf courses not just in the UK there is police around but you hardly see them and there certainly not armed. So its no surprise this happens only in the US. I'd boycot playing in the US if this was the Norm. Only needs a whack job to shoot a top golfer to make a name for himself.
