A ladyboy reported a theft at a bar in Soi New Plaza, Pattaya. At 3:10 AM on September 29th, 2025, Ms. Thiwanant Thadong, 48, alerted Pattaya City Police after her shoulder bag was stolen. The bag held valuable items including a black iPhone 12 Plus, an iPhone 11, 50 euros, an Omega wristwatch worth 50,000 baht, and important documents.

The incident took place around 1:30 AM while Ms. Thiwanant socialized with foreign friends. Her attention diverted, she placed her bag on a table, not noticing when it was taken. As the bar closed, she discovered the loss and sought police assistance.

CCTV imagery showed the suspect as a tall man who parked his motorcycle nearby. Wearing a long-sleeved black shirt, black shorts, a helmet, and a mask, he swiftly took the bag and fled. Police are currently working to track the suspect through additional CCTV footage along escape routes.

Police Sub-Lieutenant Thanasak Inphadung is handling the investigation. He confirmed efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the suspect, urging anyone with information to come forward. The incident highlights ongoing concerns about crime targeting tourists and locals in popular nightlife areas.

The investigation continues, with authorities prioritizing the recovery of stolen items and identifying the thief. Increased patrols and surveillance in nightlife areas could be measures to enhance security.

To be fair an Omega, if genuine, could well be worth that without it being gold and emblazoned with diamonds.. It is only 1500 USD. Strange to keep it in your handbag. Most one sees here are fake though.

Either very basic "cheap" model or second hand/used.

A luxury Speedmaster (Moonwatch) is over 20000 USD. No diamonds.

S/He must be doing very well judging by the contents of his/her handbag.  Why does one need two iphones?  Which client gave him/her a 50 euro note?

Oh my, what is the world or Pattaya coming to.  Now Layboys are being robbed?

The norm for "working" girls/boys.

One for business (freelance / sponsors).

One for private/family.

Less than iphone looks too cheap 😁

Even a 1000 baht note is considered a big deal here. Many stores can't make change.
