He was just a bloke; that could play. Jesus was also just a bloke. Nothing special, he just ‘got it’… that god, if you want to call it that, lies within. Each to their own but Hendrix’ way too heavy for me, one or two tracks doable in the right moment but too much of any singular instrument gets old. The sound of the universe is likely ambient—haunting, thick pads over a big, dark bassline in your diminished mobile chords, minimal if any vocals. An entity that can connect with it on a deeper level might think the universe was created for this purpose and that the human race was put together just to ‘hear’ it, and it would not be a wasted life to come to that singular realisation. There you go, I sound as crazy as you now. 🙂

A diminished chord is four minor thirds eg C-Eb-Gb -A

 

A major chord, then augmented 5th, then a 6th, then a Maj 7th is a classic progression eg Raining in my Heart by Bubby Holly.
