Well, except guys who steal highly classified documents that both jeopardize national security and can reveal the identities of foreign clandestine sources. Oh, and guys who try to browbeat State secstates to commit voter fraud by "just find me...11,780 votes" despite being told the votes were already recounted and you lost. And let's not forget calling goobers to DC and then telling them to march to the Capitol and "fight like hell; otherwise you lose your country".

By the way, why don't you tell everyone what the charges are against James. Also, please explain why it's okay for the moron President to goof and post what was supposed to be a private message to his supposedly independent AG telling her to go after Comey, James and Sen Schiff.

Also, with all the various crime taking place in the US, isn't it just a wild coincidence that in her first week as the appointed lapdog head of the Eastern District Court of VA, Halligan only issues two indictments, who just happen to be 2 of the 3 people in the corrupt fascist clown Trump's goofed social media post?

Now, for specifics (of which MAGA cultists seem blissfully ignorant), the silly charge against James is that she stated the planned use of the home she was trying to buy in Virginia, not exactly sure at the time of applying for the mortgage whether she did plan to use the home as stated. Apparently, uncertainty is a crime worse than stealing classified documents or even threatening to hang the Vice President, which we know is a pardonable crime where the convicted should be compensated for time lost in jail. Also okay is being on tape taking a bag with $50,000 in cash and saying you can arrange government contracts in exchange.

Crimes committed by GOP members are perfectly acceptable, but when committed by democrats they must be prosecuted.

Never forget we are the party of people who get our power from drinking the blood of infants in the basements of pizza parlors.

Translation: Nothing

The other part the Trump posters here are missing, probably intentionally, is that Trump's own U.S. attorney nominee for the district reviewing the James matter and his line prosecutors reportedly decided there was insufficient evidence to file federal criminal charges. So of course then Trump fired his own nominee!

US attorney resigns amid pressure from Trump after sources say he refused to charge NY AG Letitia James

"U.S. Attorney Erik Siebert resigned his position Friday amid pressure from Trump administration officials to bring a criminal case against New York Attorney General Letitia James.

...

ABC News reported that Trump was expected to fire Siebert after investigators were unable to find incriminating evidence of mortgage fraud against James, according to sources. Trump officials had pushed Siebert to bring charges against James, despite investigators failing to find clear evidence that she committed a crime, sources said. [emphasis added]

...

"He didn’t quit, I fired him!" Trump wrote in an early Saturday morning post on his social media platform."

AND

Top prosecutor is rejecting Trump pressure to charge New York AG

Oct. 7, 2025

"A top prosecutor in Virginia has informed colleagues she plans to decline to seek charges against New York Attorney General Letitia James, resisting intense pressure from President Donald Trump, according to two people familiar with her discussions.

Elizabeth Yusi, who oversees major criminal prosecutions in the Norfolk office of the Eastern District of Virginia, has confided to co-workers that she sees no probable cause to believe James engaged in mortgage fraud, the two sources told MSNBC. Yusi plans to present her conclusion to the president’s new interim U.S. attorney, Lindsey Halligan, in the coming weeks, they said."

The case was then filed shortly thereafter via Trump's own political hack successor U.S. attorney there:.

"Trump then named Halligan, one of his personal attorneys, to be acting U.S. attorney, though she lacked any prosecutorial experience."

So now the former US legal dodgeball champ of a president has the Justice Department going after Letitia James for supposedly trying to save a so-called $52 per month in interest on her mortgage. Even if the allegations are correct, over 30 years that is about $19,000, barely enough for a crappy used car or a weekend at Mar-a-Lago.

The problem is that James let the Lawfare Genie out of the bottle along with other State AGs who deliberately targeted Trump with lawfare lawsuits.  Up until 2015 when the Democrats targeted Trump there was an unspoken rule in political circles that you don't use lawfare to attack your political rivals.  That all changed after Trumps first term in office when multiple Democrat AG's announced that they were "going after" Trump post-presidency.  All you have now is retribution.  And it will never end now.

I've stated multiple times:  The Lawfare Genie should have never have been released from its bottle.  Now there is no putting him back.

You missed the story of the Hofman I guess, so convenient.

An off-topic post and another post citing a non-credible social media source have been removed.

Of course, since he was, and is, breaking the law.

There was a NY Times article quoting a former federal prosecutor that I have tried to find so this is how I remember it.

The biggest mistake made by the Biden DoJ and AG Merrick Garland is they never saw it as reasonably possible or plausible that Trump would be able to get the 2024 GOP Presidential nomination.
