In my opinion the US press is rather timid and lazy, whatever Trump says goes on the news like its a god send truth. None of those reporters come prepared when asking a question. He (and the rest of the GOP) go off on a mumble jungle of words that hardly have to do with the question, tell you to read some reports because you're dumb. So when they do read said report they see the report is not actually what the GOP/Trump is saying. They are lying through their teeth but the journo is to late. Would never happen in Europe.

South Park do a better job.

The US press is pathetic at calling things out.

He did not declassify them. Oh, and he cannot do that with his mind.

Not even the President can declassify RD documents. Only the DoE can. Also, even to view them one must have a (the real) Q clearance.

Obviously no HCS documents were declassified. HCS is human clandestine sources, and they reveal the identity of existing foreign sources whose lives, as well as their families' lives, would be in jeopardy if their identities were revealed.

There is a set procedure for declassification which requires the sign off of the pertinent agency chief. Yes, Trump today could get one of his Carnival People to sign off, but in his first Administration, there is no way DCI Gina Haspel would have signed off on ANY HCS document.

MAGAs who get their 'alternative facts' from Fake News like Fox or OAN have no clue what damage control had to be done when it was discovered all the documents Trump stole and what they contain. Clandestine assets had to be ex-filled just to keep them and their families safe, which also means the US lost valuable long term sources.

You have no friggin clue. Just a cultist with zero knowledge of the facts.

The whole episode probably did almost irrepairable (possible total) damage to any intelligence sharing between allies. Put bluntly, no one  is going to share sensative information with the USA if they suspect it is going to end up stacked up in a Mar-A-Lago ballroom khazi!

Well SpiderM, it's because every ecomony is scared he's going to have a hissy-fit and impose trade restrictions, so they keep mostly quiet, as he's in control of the biggest economy in the world and can do as he see's fit... thought you would know that. Power is a funny old thing and corrupts at all levels, whether great or small.... from normal offices to government.

What "man was convicted of massive fraud...."? Trump?  When did this occur? Please explain and show proof of this claim or just casually admit AGAIN your a lying gaslighting hater with nothing better to do than embarrass yourself, something like this moronic democrat whitehead.

How soon you forget. In September 2023, Judge Engoron ruled Trump was liable for business fraud, finding he had misrepresented his wealth by hundreds of millions of dollars. Another trial was held in 2024 to determine the penalty.

In one instance, the judge found Mr Trump's financial statements had wrongly claimed that his Trump Tower penthouse was almost three times its actual size.

More hypocrisy. With regard to trade. It's okay for Trump to ban certain chips in exports to China, but it's not okay for China to restrict rare earth materials to the US. He had to see this coming, and if he didn't he is a much bigger idiot than we thought he was.

The vast potential reach of China’s action, and the U.S.'s counteraction, was on display Friday: Trump’s tariff announcement sent stocks tumbling, with the S&P 500 dropping more than 2 percent, its worst day since April.

Former Trump officials say China’s latest salvo is a particularly sophisticated show of force — one that underscores a growing mismatch between China’s long-term strategy and the Trump administration’s more improvisational approach.

“We’re playing 2-D chess while Beijing is playing 4-D chess,” said Liza Tobin, who served as National Security Council director for China during the first Trump administration and the start of the Biden administration. "Honestly this problem has been going on for 20 years,” the person added. “People just don’t know how screwed we are.”

And that’s just what China’s counting on, said RAND’s Bradley Martin, who echoed the idea that the U.S. is going to be playing catch up on rare earths for some time.

So some people went to watch a circus. What's unusual with that? What is unusual is when you watch the circus every week, and read articles about its clowns' antics, have your favourite clown etc.

This could hardly have been said better. Too bad those who need to hear it aren't listening.

Why are you still so angry with the country you have left behind?

Nobody thinks he actually said that. But what else can they attack him with after a decade long all hands on deck forensic investigation into everything he ever did failed to even find skids in his jockeys? Make stuff up, thats all the irrational haters can do.

The right question to ask is why is the western world never learning for ages and still continuing to booklick the USA markets ? There are far more economic giants in the world to do business with.

Too busy dealing with controversies from incompetent democrat imbeciles who hate America all the while laying down WINNING performances worthy only of MAGA
