It took me one hour to get from Suk to 2nd Road yesterday!  There were cars parked on both sides.  Do police only work on February 29th?

I had a visitor who took 4 hours on the motorway to reach Bangkok Monday afternoon, from Hwy 36 too.

Yes.  Took me 4 hours; stop/go all the way until after the airport.  Idiots driving on the hard shoulder as well.

I purchased my condo just off Naklua Road 10 years ago. Over that time the traffic has increased significantly. So when the traffic goes towards the Dolphin Roundabout where are they going to. When they travel along Beach Road they must turn left at Walking Street. This is weekdays too so it's not holiday makers going to the beach. I just don't understand where they are all going to, is this a Thai short cut to Jomtein?

Very confusing post

Good.

Actually, install parking meters, raise some revenue.

This is Thailand, not georgetown Penang.

Parking meters would stop the free loaders.

The house I live in, in a gated village, little soi's. At times the neighbours park their cars out front, because their driveway are cluttered, no room for their car.

It's the same on the other public roads, if they installed meters you wouldn't see most of those parked cars on the road.

Great photos.

It was confusing for some here, instead of reading the article the lazy members assumed it was beach road because of the headline photo, so sad 😞
