No, we are not.

Stop spreading misinformation.

Eric.

Humans are separate from other mammals , although we are still mammals, by a higher developed brain, (for most), more agility using tools, better reasoing ability, (for most), and a language that is a lot more complex. although some mammals do have a language that is varied.

Men are genetically programmed to indulge in polygamy. Women are genetically programmed to control this urge in their men. Difficult to enforce in Thailand. Most people find some kind of workable relationship. At 70, I don't care that much. Luxury decision. in the UK I wouldn't have the option. Just knowing it's there is enough for me, and keeps my woman under control.

It isn't programmed but some cultural behaviors, adopted by some men. Men can make a choice that comes from how they were raised.

So by definition, you believe in free will?

It's not a matter of believing. We have it already.  That free will can make or break a man, and a nation.

It's okay, I've known what free will means since I was a child. No other's opinion is necessary. Free will involves choices made by us, totally in our power.

Agree, it's a choice, free will and all that. But a man who isn't attracted by other women is living in denial.

I don't think having just one wife automatically means that we aren't 'attracted' by other women. It means we are not romantically interested in them. We are attracted to the external features that make them female, not the internal values we cherish in our spouses.
(This is taking the leap assuming you married your spouse for those internal values AS WELL AS their external ones. Some guys are not that choosy.)

Nothing wrong with attraction to others. What you do with that attraction matters, especially if you already have a good partner.

For me I want as many females in as many different countries as possible. Men are biologically wired to fornicate with as many women as they can during their lifetime - it's just the nature of man.

Only socially constructed morals keep certain people from doing so, but they are brainwashed imo.

Eric.

It makes each encounter less special, however. The charge and excitement wears down each time, unless you get into more and more extreme activities and/or fetishes, but even those wear off.

If you did meet someone you wanted to commit to after being a philanderer for many years the sexual act may not bond you as much.

i would be more than ok with living with 2 girls, provided there is genuine passion and love, but fear STD to the point i rather not engage in sex with someone i dont live with.

i got several cases of gonorrhea during my first 6 month in thailand btw, nebber ebber again

Women is wired to get pregnant by the strongest and the man with the best genes, and that means most of the men is not an option. How about that ?

where are you in that picture ? Alpha women also would choose two or mer men for her children to make sure the best genes in future, and the weakest men would be slaves for eternity. Or just go to poor countries to play alpha males with imaginary wealth and status

I don't care how many wives (or husbands) another person has. That's their business. I began my relationship with my wife based on the fact that I wanted to be with her. I fell in love with her.  I haven't  (nor have I had) any romantic interests in other women. That's how I knew I wanted to spend the rest of my life together with just her. Cross-cultural marriages are hard work at best. Adding in a third factor would only add to the work.

I'm not sure of the accuracy, but in one of the Asian character sets, the ideogram for 'tranquility' is the shape of a woman under a house roof. The ideogram with TWO women under the same roof represents 'chaos.'

That’s how it works, when a man finds his woman, he will do everything he can for her and them to overcome everything that comes in the way, if she knows how to push the right buttons in a positive and constructive way.

Fight for your woman 😉 Any good woman will always have choices, so make sure you are the best option.

I have to disagree, throughout our lives, we have to make choices, and most of those choices is not by free will, it is forced down on us out of many different reasons and causes. Free will is on a day off, you choose either to stay with wife doing something she wants, or go fishing alone, not because you need food, but because you can. Just a simple example. However if there where other times, you had to go out to find food because you had to, and it was freezing cold and dangerous, it would not be a free choice, but a necessity for survival

We might be raised to be or act a certain way but it's still our choices that make us individuals and not sheep.

Things are not forced on us by parents unless they are controlling. They are supposed to be taught by them so we know the difference between right and wrong, and how to respect and treat others and animals.

We all have free will to make choices, and those choices can either get us into trouble and cause strife, or help us get along with others. No matter what you do from day one to the last day, unless you are controlled, you can do whatever you want, which is free will. If you need to find food for survival, you can choose to go or stay. All on you.

Everyone not in a controlled environment can choose to do whatever they want. Even there you can do whatever you want, but it might come with consequences.

Please Eric, you can stop this nonsense now. Look at the replies in this thread. Does it still look like men are wired like you post? Maybe you are, but you belong to a minority.

Again, I have to disagree, but you are free to believe what you want 😉

If you want to talk about polygamy the be aware that it means

1. You will have more than 1

woman

2. The woman will have more than 1 man.

You like that?

Whatever system you want to follow and can make.

By law in most countries you can only marry one.

Unless you are  a Mormon in Utah, Salt lake city.

You can have sideways in your relation, or both knowing or not.

Do sex parties together with your wife, swingers they call it.

Everything is possible eventually, but you have to live with it.

In the old days there were on some locations sex orgies with even including young kids, mostly young boys.

As the Romans did. Greeks too, I believe.

You had men with harems, so you have spare.

If you find yourself in a communie maybe there is also run around sex.

Thailand , men have mia noi's and other countries it is called just sex partners aside.

It is about where are standing and be open honest about it. However the honesty is rare to find, I guess.

And some go wild, are even married, dont care, but hopping around.

I like to see "two & half men" , it is a comedy, but also see the struggle sometimes.

I really love that serie. Especially the one with Charlie Sheen in it, the best.
