Dont say you were not warned.

I think a big part of the problem is they have been brought up believing they can not be criticized, throwing around the “anti semetic” lines.

Criticism can be constructive.

Perhaps if they learn to listen to constructive criticism they might not find themselves being so hated.

I think it is time for them to take a good hard look in the mirror.

Oh no!

Shall I hide under my bed to avoid falafel projectiles?

I have had similar experiences in Thailand observing Russians, Chinese and Indians. But Malcolm hasn't been around Thailand long enough to experience any of that. The Russians have been causing even worse problems in Thailand for at least 3 decades, maybe even longer.

When they were at their peak I used to have fun sitting on them on baht buses.

Typically, I'd board a bus and three of them would be hogging space meant for six.

They wouldn't budge. So ipso facto, ready or not, here comes my butt.

At first I thought I would be punched for doing that, but the response was usually just shock.

Just more unnecessary negativity. Another self-entitled expat in Thailand acting like they have any right to dictate how others should behave.

It isn’t just the crimes that the Thais have to deal with.

It is the general rudeness and entitlement these people go on with that Thai service staff and business owners have to deal with everyday.

They are not the same stories as you claim, counterfeiting, drugs, refusing to pay for food already eaten, stealing temple donations from the poor, nominee companies, fake tour guides, etc etc.

If there were no stories to report I would not be able to report them.

With the ceasefire holding up we all need to be prepared for the huge influx of these criminals, often suffering PTSD coming in over the next few months.

I am sure the majority of normal Jews i.e not rabid Israeli's and Zionists are ok

However these seem few and far between

I am all for any dual Israeli  citizens of IDF having their second passport's removed and rights of travel restricted for everyone's sake

There is nothing to share. I don't go around sniffing YouTube videos of people making spews for views like you do. Frankly, I couldn't give a toss. You live here long enough you experience these kindly of unruly people in your daily life. But then you move on. Simple as that.

I'm surprised you didn't make up your own poll and start quoting that as fact.

You have a video of an attention seeking tik-toker - and conflated her comments as if she represents all Thai's...

This level of stupidity is normal for you though and you miss the nuance completely.

TBH, the British, the Germans, and other Europeans often act just as bad as the Indians, Russians and Chinese do in Thailand. Sometimes even worse. Violent crime, murder, etc.

Obviously rude and/or criminal behavior isn't restricted to any nationality.

Indeed, but the OP seems to think there is something unique about one particular nationality. Clearly an unhealthy obsession.

Yet the only signs outside Thai businesses are “No Israelis”

I wonder why?
Are Thais inherently anti semitic.

Or are they just completely sick and tired of their behavior.

I havent heard the Thai PM have to make special trips to investigate problems caused by anyone other than the Israelis.

Have you?

Are you legally sanctioned by local authorities to do that? Are you a Thai citizen or do you have a license or work permit to police bad behavior of other foreigners in Thailand? Or does your anti-Israeli obsession alone entitle you to do that? Never mind, just post videos of you doing that. Surely you will gather the highest praise here from everyone when you do.

You seem to have  an inferiority complex in regards to Israelis/Jews.

You need to be better then them , dominate them, by telling them what to do and what they should be doing .

Abusing them online makes you feel superior .

Israelis in Thailand makes you feel inferior .

Have you considering visiting a psychiatrist ?

All tourists, sooner or later, fall prey to the old adage that familiarity breeds contempt.

Across the world, in countless destinations, we see the same pattern repeat itself: once enough visitors from a particular country arrive, a critical mass is reached, and locals begin to judge the whole group by the behaviour of the worst among them.

Soon, sweeping generalisations take root, and the loudest, least thoughtful voices seize the stage - bigoted fools churning out videos, others amplifying their prejudice. What began as cultural exchange becomes caricature, fuelled by ignorance and ego.

We’ve seen it time and again in Thailand – each nationality having its turn in the spotlight, for better or worse.

That said, a certain strain of bigotry has long existed here towards Israelis. I still remember, some thirty years ago, spotting a sign at a small beach resort in North Chaweng that read simply: “No Israelis.” At the time, I assumed the place was Muslim-owned, or perhaps the owners were just weary of Israeli tourists endlessly haggling and bargaining over every baht.

Today, the story also repeats itself with other groups: “No Indians.” “No Arabs.” The faces change, but the sentiment remains.

Having worked in both Israel and the Middle East, what always strikes me is how much the people there have in common - in temperament, in passion, even in their flaws. The irony is almost poetic: those so often set against each other are, in many ways, reflections in the same mirror.

Israelis seem to be offending and annoying them more than any others.

Outward bigotry again - you only see that because you lack the intelligent balance, in your postings and threads, you have ALWAYS lacked any intellectual balance, in your polls, you present them without any intellectual balance...        and here you are again, showing signs that you are mentally ill equipped to see anything other than the bigotry that bounces around in your empty headed echo-chaimber.

All good, valid points. When I first came here many decades ago, before the Chinese or Israelis started coming in any numbers, it was mainly the Indians and Arabs that the Thais didn’t like. At the time I was amazed at how many Thais complained about them being rude, a nuisance, or even smelly. But for every Thai who disliked them, another was happy to take their money. That’s why any of us are tolerated here. If any of us were truly that disliked, we wouldn’t be tolerated at all. So, for every bigoted fool pumping out hate videos to make a spectacle and earn a few baht, remember: if everyone felt the same way, there wouldn’t be anyone to take their money, and they’d be gone. Despite any anti-foreigner sentiment for any particular nationality, if their numbers keep increasing, it means the number of Thais willing to take their money is growing too. You can’t have one without the other, right?

Thirty years ago, the backpacking scene looked very different. Israelis were everywhere, fresh out of military service, travelling in groups, and leaving their mark on the circuit from Goa to Chiang Mai. Back then, you saw few Indians, Arabs, or Chinese tourists. The demographic has shifted, but the pattern remains the same.

Those infamous “No Israelis” or “No Indians” signs are, at their core, the purest expression of familiarity breeding contempt.

The Chinese, interestingly, followed a slightly different pattern. Their arrival came later, and largely in the form of the so-called “No Dollar Tours” – mass-organised packages where every detail was pre-arranged: the same buses, the same bargain hotels, the same restaurants and dinner cruises. It was tourism stripped of spontaneity, packaged for efficiency rather than experience.

At first, locals tolerated it – money was coming in, after all – but inevitably the backlash followed. Entire groups moving like clockwork through the same spots every day, spending little beyond what their agencies dictated, left small business owners frustrated and locals fatigued. The result, once again, was resentment masquerading as cultural criticism. The pattern repeats endlessly – different flag, same human instinct.

Once too many of any one ‘type’ of traveller gathers in a small place, friction follows. A few bad interactions, and suddenly an entire nationality becomes shorthand for nuisance.

I remember seeing similar signs in Japan – “No Foreigners.” It wasn’t always hostility so much as discomfort. Foreigners tended to argue a point, challenge a misunderstanding, or show emotion in ways that didn’t align with Japan’s cultural preference for quiet, face-saving resolution. The same principle applies across tourist hotspots worldwide: when cultures collide too often in too small a space, even simple differences start to grate, and what began as curiosity turns into quiet resentment.

But - one thing is certain - its not the whole nation passing these judgements - you are simply attempting to paint an untrue picture through your bigotry - its the same pattern you always display.

Whoa cowboy.

There is a big difference between being anti Semitic and Jew hating to making some comments on young Israelis being dickheads in Thailand.

Don't recall any Rabbis playing up in Thailand.

100% agree. It is designed to troll, flame, stir the pot, and increase hate. It should all definitely be banned, unless there is something to be meaningfully gained or discussed other than just another "oh, look at all the bad things that nationality is doing" topic.
