  • To the title ... ... ACA - ObamaCare 🤬

  • The ACA had really taken it’s toll, but as far as I’m concerned, healthcare in the US is the best in the world.

  • It’s only considered a mess because the left needs it to be a mess.

MAHA  perhaps a start ?

Then stop sending billions to Ukraine,Israel and all the never ending wars.

that should take care of it I think.

This is a drop in the bucket compared to the sheer size of the Federal budget.  In 2025, the feds spent $4.1 trillion on social programs.

A 5% net increase on income tax for the richest 20% would pay for free health care for every single citizen.

But what do the richest care about the poorest? This is America.

No, it would not.   A study showed that free health care for every single citizen would cost three trillion dollars per year.   This is a conservative estimate with a 40% cut to healthcare providers.   It most likely costs over 4 trillion per year.

How would that reign in "Big Pharma"?

The left seems to love them some big pharma nowadays.

Well if you didn't keep giving most the money away to illegal immigrants maybe it would be enough?

No, for everyone. I never had insurance until I was forty

Guess you didn’t have a family.I used to wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat worrying if something happened to me my family would be on the street and we would lose what we worked so hard to achieve…..and I had an extremely dangerous occupation.there is no excuse we should have universal health care I’d like something in return for the taxes I pay.

Go away.

Everyone in the US had access to healthcare before the ACA, and everyone had access after the ACA.

All the people weighing in from countries with “free” healthcare seem to believe the idiocy they see on TV about people in the US not getting healthcare.

The left conflates medical insurance, with medical care. A lot of people have no insurance. Everyone gets care.

A homeless person with hep C gets the same medication as the guy with great insurance, and gets on the same liver donor list.

Bullsh*t.

If you were so worried about it, you could have just got off your dead a** and got a job with benefits.

You are so clueless. Honestly, it's not your fault you have fallen into the trap.

To be in the highest 20% of earners in the US, an individual needs an income of about $117,162 or more. That's not rich, that s what most working smucks makes.

You Yanks need to get your act together.

Stop the federal and state governments spaffing money up the wall on farmers, vets, DEI, gays, illegal immigrants, railways that go no where and healthcare that costs as fortune as insurers skim off the top. Invest in infrastructure like ball rooms and patios....get the economy moving.

You need a strong president to get these problems sorted.

So if you are uninsured and get run over by a car with no insurance, and break a leg or two, requiring an ambulance/helicopter evac, EO treatment and several follow up operations, this is free?

They were hard to come by because employers didn’t have to help out….therefore I’d like something in return for my taxes ….furthermore YOU should have had a little swim along work day with me during my career down there in the dark and cold.dead ass indeed key board twerp.

The post you responded to didn’t imply that healthcare is free, it was stated clearly that it is accessible.

Add up the numbers and divide by 6,700,000,000,000.   Then times 100 to convert to a percentage.

Define “free”.

If you have nothing, you pay nothing.

They can’t take your home, your car, or your retirement. If you have a lot of savings, they can’t take get that, bit you can avoid that with bankruptcy.

Sounds like a great system. Don't know why anyone is complaining!

You said the rich will pay for it and that's completely wrong.

Illegals - Trump's working on it

Dei - Trump got rid of it

Railway to nowhere - That be Newsom

You're actually a republican

In all other western countries, medicine and education are run to benefit society. People who are well and educated are happier and more productive.

In the US, medicine and education are run to benefit corporations and magnates. They want their short-term returns.

The US is a lot more productive than the UK.

Without nampby pamby universal health care. That's for sissies.

You are 100 percent correct.  The UK is dying.

When the white-coats put their $$$$$ before their patient's welfare, you can be sure the country has lost its way.

Tell it to the UK where doctors and nurses are on strike for more money every 3 months.

Becoming a white-coat used to be a calling.

The dosh has taken over.

In my world half the white-coats would need a different job. They would be on the dole.

Isn't it like that in Thailand still?

And they have free health care!

Top private hospitals! They got it all!!!

Why can Thais do it and others can't?
