Had he have posted "I met this girl on Tinder, she's 24, I know I'm an old man, she's after money and it probably won't end well, but I'm having a great time and loving it while it lasts" this would have been a one page thread. Ignored, good for him. 

But he turned it in to what it has become, he deserves all the derision and ridicule he gets.

But I suspect he could just be taking the piss out of us all and we are all falling for it. 😆

But what I have learnt in my decades of visits to Thailand and three years living here is old blokes and young pretty Thai women relationships usually end in tears, with the bloke ripped off, penniless, the girl gets a house, a car and her parents looked after for a few years.

 

It has not happened to me as I don't know how some guys could fall for that trick, but I have seen it happen lots of times. 

 

A lot of guys do not come across this fact  due to their life style, that there are plenty of real women out there who are professional (not that type 😆) and have their own money , careers and standard of living, but they will never meet such a woman as such women do not hang around in bars.

I have met quite a few who have been ripped off, but it is hard to socialize with those who have been hurt and ripped off. But those I do socialize with, either way what happened in the past, they managed to learn from it, and move on.

Yeah, last year I wasnt looking for anything but a bottle of whiskey.

In 711 when i bought bottle, there were 2 young ladies very anxious to drink whiskey !

One who spoke English and one all in Thai, but translated by English speaking girl.

Hard to determine how old, but I guess in between 19-23 yo.

Didnt care about my age or my status, drinking the whiskey would be good enough to whatever.

OR girls who want to see your blue eyes and are starring right into your face , eyes. You dont have to hunt, be aware when in the streets.

Further its up to you want you want to make of all. It is not really that hard or rocket science.

Also be ware it can happen in a jiffy time, no reaction and it is gone.

 

I have seen young guy with young damned good looking girl, just ignoring her in walk by. Just act as a piece of <deleted> to her, like Cam is doing to his Phuket girl. I was really like wtf?

I ve seen a way older guy, helped by a way younger girl (he could be her granddad !), It is really amazing Thailand. I think she wasnt there for the sex or intimacy, just money but in good way.

Some things you notice if you see passing it by.

You can go and hunt, but not really needed. 

You see a nice girl? just say the words "pai na" and you will know in seconds.

Really being shy isnt working.  BUT dont be to cocky, have fun.

 

I remember in Pattaya , the beer bar,  Had a wonderfull time with 7 ladies !

And yes , one went with me. Get them some drinks, didnt cost that much then and have a good time. Best money spend ever, though not many really spoke English, but a nice challenge.
