Doctor Mike vs 20 Anti-Vaxxers

At the end of the day, most people are like horses with blinders. They only want to hear what they want to hear and then find a source that agrees with them.

I have no predisposition of what I want to hear from anyone...  If they're credible and have relevant expertise on the subject at hand, I'm all ears.

I just choose to not seek out expertise on vaccines and their effects from psychiatrists, chiropractors, opthamologists, orthopedists, gynecologists, etc etc etc.

Autism is a clear and present danger and anyone that takes an experimental drug should be warned.

Well, this doctor claims autism rates have risen primarily due to obesity / diabetes / metabolic disorders.

But some drugs or vaccines can add additional inflammation and possibly trigger it, it seems.

Will be interesting to see what happens with these lawsuits. Tylenol CEO must be nervous after this information got out.

A nourishing diet will sort out most of these complaints (obesity / diabetes / metabolic disorders).

Obesity is lots of food going in the mouth, and precious little in the way of nutrients being distributed round the body.

Childhood vaccines used to contain mercury but due to public outcry the mercury was removed.

The type of mercury that was removed from some vaccines in past years (thimerasol / ethylmercury) was NOT the same kind of mercury (methylmercury) that's considered harmful. Two different substances, though anti-vaxers predictably like to ignore that fact.

https://www.cdc.gov/vaccine-safety/about/thimerosal.html

Why do some people worry about thimerosal in vaccines?

"You may have heard that thimerosal has mercury in it. Not all types of mercury are the same. Some types of mercury, like mercury in some kinds of fish, stay in the human body and can make people sick. Thimerosal is a different kind of mercury. It doesn’t stay in the body, and is unlikely to make us sick.

Is thimerosal safe?

Yes. Thimerosal has been used safely in vaccines for a long time (since the 1930s).

Scientists have been studying the use of thimerosal in vaccines for many years. They haven’t found any evidence that thimerosal causes harm."

Also, even though the government began phasing out thimerasol many years ago just to assuage the public, some childhood vaccines NEVER contained thimerasol in the first place.

Measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccines do not and never did contain thimerosal. Same with Varicella (chickenpox), inactivated polio (IPV), and pneumococcal conjugate vaccines.

Background from the American Academy of Pediatrics:

  • In 2001, thimerosal was removed from all routine childhood vaccines because misleading claims about different types of mercury were eroding public trust in vaccine safety. Pediatric and medical organizations — including AAP — recommended removing thimerosal because the risks of children going without vaccines had become greater than the benefits of thimerosal as a vaccine ingredient.

  • AAP's assessment of the best available evidence has always been, and continues to be, that thimerosal is a safe additive in appropriate amounts."

I am sure this so called "doctor" is not on the payroll of some organization...And I believe his views are very  neutral in this subject. Let me think...If planned a genocide and I was part of this plan and made lots money during this event,...I would go on social media and tell my victims that I was the "evil one".

Autism starts to develop in children around the same time they are vaccinated? Give or take ??

So it's natural that there is a strong connection.

https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20250415-the-genetic-mystery-of-why-some-people-develop-autism

Until the 1970s, the prevailing belief in psychiatry was that autism was a consequence of bad parenting. In the 1940s, the Austrian psychiatrist Leo Kanner had coined the controversial "refrigerator mother" theory suggesting that autism arose from early childhood trauma, created by mothers who were cold, uncaring and rejected their children.

Daniel Geschwind, a neuroscience and genetics professor at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), says that this is now rightly recognised as being deeply damaging and wrong – but it took the better part of three decades for Kanner's theory to be debunked.

So they are trying to kill us all?

Maybe they are just doing the best they can, with limited data.

Possible future solutions being considered:

Identify problematic genes and edit the genes before the child is born?

https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20250415-the-genetic-mystery-of-why-some-people-develop-autism

In the future, Geschwind suggests that a technology such as Crispr, which allows scientists to edit a person's DNA, could be used to intervene at an even earlier stage of life. For example, gene therapy could be delivered to unborn babies found to have various mutations, while they are still in the womb.

No, it starts to develop prior to birth, and has been identified as such.  That's part of the reason why scientists are clear it's not vaccine related.

Brain Changes Suggest Autism Starts In The Womb

Brain imaging studies seek signs of autism before birth

https://today.wayne.edu/news/2017/08/17/brain-imaging-studies-seek-signs-of-autism-before-birth-6549

But it starts to get RECOGNIZED after birth once a child begins to mature, and that happens to coincide with the period when vaccines are being given... But again, studies have shown no difference between autism rates in vaccinated vs unvaccinated children.

Research Finds Vaccines Are Not Behind the Rise in Autism. So What Is?

"More than 100 genes have been associated with autism, but the disorder appears to result from a complex combination of genetic susceptibilities and environmental triggers.

...

The misinformed theory that vaccines are behind the disorder is one such case of speculation. It gained traction when a British researcher named Andrew Wakefield published a study of 12 children in the late 1990s, purporting to reveal a link between the measles, mumps and rubella vaccine and autism.

Many larger studies have since discredited the hypothesis, including one that enrolled the entire Danish child population. Regardless of the types of vaccines, the ingredients or the timing of the schedule, researchers have not been able to establish a link. Dr. Wakefield’s article was retracted, and he lost his medical license, but the seeds had been planted in social discourse."

Talking about predispositions, you seem to be looking to try to make that connection... But as detailed above, the science simply doesn't show it.

Do Vaccines Cause Autism?

"The research is clear: Vaccines don’t cause autism. More than a dozen studies have tried to find a link. Each one has come up empty."

"The science" can be vague.

Some studies may be flawed.

Some studies may not prove anything yet, but it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

There are stories of people winning court cases in vaccine damage.

What I got from that video is that there appear to be genetic predispositions and/or metabolic health issues that make people more vulnerable to vaccine injury. So the vaccine ALONE cannot be fully blamed for autism cases.

AND also, unlike opinions from some folks on here, doing nothing and not vaccinating children is not an option because illnesses like measles can also cause serious complications.

That's my understanding. Not sure I want to continue re-hashing this.

That's the point.

Less than 10% of people have good biomarkers (don't quote me on that).
