Immigration "90 Day Notification" Change of E-mail Address

Featured Replies

My Hotmail account has recently become unusable, at least on my own computer.  I am in the process of transitioning to another e-mail provider.  There are many issues to consider after 27 years with Hotmail.  Among them:  Is there any way I can continue my "90 Days" notifications online, and change my e-mail address with Immigration ?  I've just done my latest report, and didn't see any way to do that. (I did it on a friend's computer, where I can still open my Hotmail account.)

Hotmail per se is finished.
Microsoft retired the Hotmail brand and merged everything into Outlook.com.

Anyone with an @hotmail.com address can still use it, but you now access it through
https://outlook.live.com/mail/0 or via the free Outlook app link there .

It’s the same account — just a new uniform platform and interface.

Great advice.

Also OP could consider using cell phone.

Guessing there is outlook app available if required.

Thanks Jack -- yes you guessed correctly.
The browser procedure in my OP works for either desktop or mobile 🙂

As above the best solution is to fix whatever is stopping you from accessing your Hotmail and carrying on as before, however to answer your question you need to make a new account using the new email address and start afresh from that.

Never had any problem with HM. Using MS Authenticator makes it easy access by any device. Only junk mail, especially in German language 🤔

There shouldn't be a need to retire your Hotmail account.  As previously stated, Hotmail as a brand is no longer used but is part of Outlook.  I've been using my Hotmail address for nearly 30 years and I expect it will be there until the end (of me).

Whereabouts are you?  I'm sure something can be done with your browser or computer to get it stable again.
