Kap Cheong Or Chong Sa Ngam Imm. For Extension ?

Hi,

Next September, it will be time for my third 1 year extension for retirement but it will be my first in South Isaan.

As I will be in Khun Han, I think the Immigration Office in the Phusing District at Chong Sa Ngam should be the nearest.

Last April, I went to Kap Cheong Immigration to check the location, I could not find but did not look too long for the Chong Sa Ngam one.

Any recent first hand experiences at either of these offices ? Which one would you recommend ? Does one depend/report to the other ?

Thanks

I went through Pu Singh border crossing this April. Zero wait and a relaxed border control. I came from Cambodia around 4 PM. The immigration was very nice and even arranged a lift for me to Sisaket. The border market on the other side is a bit rough. Maybe you like a short trip to Along Vengh and have a look around.

If you have a car and a day off, you could even get to some Angkor ruins and back (about 2-3 hrs ride - one way).

The road is perfect until anlong veng after that stabilized dust road (good condition in April).

I can only recommend the pu singh district crossing.

I was looking for info on the immigration office (for an extension based on income) itself rather than the border crossing

Anybody done their extension at the Phusing orKap Cheong immigration offcies recently ?
