  1. 1. What will you do if these new visa rules become real? I seriously expect another multi flip flop changes on this as it would just damage more than it does even 3% good.

Yesterday one? To limit all arrivals including air to only 2 per calendar year as well only give you 1 extension of 30 days per year and a 2nd one of just 7 days....

I have been in Thailand for 10,896 days, every one of them legally.  I don't anticipate needing to do anything.

I think you need to amend the title of your thread to include the words visa exemption as the recent changes only apply to anyone arriving in Thailand and using the visa exemption option

Have to be a retard to not understand the point of it, not changing anything. Everyone uses the slang 'visa rules' for these topics. That's also what would generate traffic for the forum.

Misleading title, as it's the rules for people without visas (visa exempt entries) that have been (or may be) changed.

It's better to use correct terminology.

If you are a 'real' tourist it shouldn't affect you, only if you are 'living' in Thailand, trying to to bend the rules, then it will? And so it should!

It's not your job to 'generate traffic for the forum'.

You do have a responsibility to not use disingenuous thread titles.

Absolute nonsense of course, anyone with brains knows that as well the economy does. Plenty of people travel for a year break, or even for 3-6 months a year. That you had a career where you only were let out of the box 3 weeks a year doesn't mean everyone lives like that in 2025.

Anyway, it seems they already crawled back on it with a post of just now, was never gonna happen as it would take down at least 5-10% of tourism GDP. Not to even include transit travellers.
