Rayong Immigration has moved

bigger inside with more seating, lots of onsite parking

The new building is a much welcome change. All very polite and much improved from previous , often confusing and ;occasionally agressive nature.  That was likely due to the overwhelming pressure of the increasing number of visitors and workload .

I agree with the comment about navigating the intersection / island when one has do do a U turn to get back on the inbound section when coming from Map Ta Phut

The "U-turn Spaghetti" is really NOT that hard guys and gals...  It's simply a rotary junction compressed into a figure of 8 shape so that the 3191 truck traffic can cross over via flyover straight into Map Ta Phut Industrial area without disturbing traffic needing to turn or U-Turn.

Looking forward to seeing the new office soon!  The amount of Chinese completely filling up and screaming and yelling across the waiting area in the old one over the past 2 years has worn the nerves a bit...

Note that as usual with Thais and maps, the 'official' location is incorrect.  "Immigration Rayong neu" is the correct location.  Nice work, government officials!

That's good to hear.  Such a joy to be able to use Rayong instead of the nightmare that is Chaengwattana!

Enclosed is the news item with details of the change, which, thankfully in the event, I captured before it was apparently taken down from the internet:

Thanks a lot....but Google maps doesn't recognise 28 I-One Rd. I'm a bit stymied....

So I QR'd the QR and it comes up with a different address:

Rayong imigration

3392, Huai Pong, Mueang Rayong District, Rayong 21150, Thailand

I'm even more confused now ! Is that the old office ?

Attached is my Google Maps link in Thai for the new office. Maybe Google Maps only recognises the Thai version of their address (i.e. ถนนไอ-หนึ่ง = I-One Rd)?

@lolex - below is the Thai language version of the news item I enclosed previously, which includes the new office address wholly in Thai:

Looking at the google maps photos, it's much bigger than the Pattaya office.

INDEED - the spagetti roads and lack of signage seem problematic to everyone except <n8sail>
