As I get older, I always check that I am wearing my clothes before leaving the house - seriously! 🙂

Agreed that it does get more and more difficult for the over-80s to deal with such details when going out!

GOOD! Waste your time in the concrete jungle of BKK or Pattaya.

It's a nice place but worries me that the rot is spreading

Ha! Sorry, first reaction was hearing the words of Robin Williams in my ear. "Good Morning Vietnam" the weather report, "it's hot! Damned hot!"

The big worry here should be, Where did he keep his money that he wanted to spend  :omfg:

They let him off with a warning!!!:cheesy:

You got me to reflecting ... do you come from a culture looking for confrontation? Or a sabai, sabai culture desiring to avoid conflict when possible?

A bit cocky.

I'm always amazed at the morons who show up in Thailand and then figure that they can do the exact things that would get them arrested and incarcerated in their own countries?
We're in Thailand - let's go shag on the beach.
We're in Thailand - let's go Full Monty on a motorbike.
We're in Thailand - let's go desecrate a place of worship.

Where do these freaks come from - because honestly - they reflect on all of us here.

A naked foreign man caused alarm in Kamphaeng Phet early on the morning of 16 November, after riding a motorcycle into the Khlong Lan market area and entering a convenience store without any clothing. The incident occurred at around 07:30 and immediately drew the attention of shocked residents, several of whom captured photos and videos as it unfolded. Police were alerted soon after witnesses observed the man moving through the market while using one hand to cover his genitals.

According to accounts from residents and officers, the man, described by police as a Western national in his 30s, arrived at a shop inside the Khlong Lan fresh market before briefly entering the premises. He appeared unfazed by onlookers while carrying out his actions in clear view of traders and morning shoppers. After leaving the store, he rode away on the motorcycle, still naked.

Police later located the man sitting at a nearby snooker table, where officers said he appeared to be intoxicated. They approached him and issued a warning regarding his behaviour, noting that he was in no condition to explain his actions at the time. Officers said the situation did not escalate further once they confirmed that no one had been harmed.

A Thai woman who identified herself as the man’s wife arrived shortly thereafter with clothing and escorted him home, according to Khlong Lan police. Residents expressed relief that the unusual episode concluded peacefully, though the event left many unsettled due to the unexpected nature of the man’s behaviour. Police did not report if any charges will be filed  and indicated that the matter would not proceed further once he was safely removed from the area.

Khaosod reported that authorities have not released the man’s name, nor have they provided additional details on whether follow-up action may be considered. Police statements suggest that the response will remain limited to a warning, unless further incidents occur. Residents hope no similar disturbances take place in the coming days.

I wonder where that was, as I live 6 km away from Klong Lan and there are NO convenience stores in the market area.

In fact the market area is on both sides of the road, though there is a 7/11on the main road out of the village towards Nakhon Sawan.

With it being ilegal in Thailand to

- leave home without wearing underwear

- drive without wearing a shirt

And one would presume go shopping naked....

Why did the cops just let him go? Maybe life with the wife is punishment enough

He's too freaky for Pattaya... he's much better off where he is, to create some excitement for all the bored expats up there.

You missed the part about him being too drunk or intoxicated to have a conversation with. People do stupid things when they are drunk.

It's always farang men who appear naked in public, never farang women. Why?

Probably because women have far more sense than men.

I forgot one time I was wearing my slippers while shopping.

He came straight from the hot springs and forgot to get dressed

He is just a sleepwalker being in his dream of walking naked around in public...😀
«It is a common dream theme to walk naked around in public, and it typically symbolizes feelings of vulnerability, exposure, and fear of judgment rather than a literal desire to be naked in public. The specific meaning can vary depending on your personal emotions and recent life experiences, but it often relates to anxieties about being seen for who you truly are, fears of being unprepared, or feelings of being judged in social or professional situations»...:whistling:
