November 22, 2025Nov 22 I was prescribed in U.S. duloxetine 20 mg delayed release (Cymbalta) for migraines. In Bangkok pharmacies I have found generics Duloz and Zyduz, only in 30 mg and 60 mg. If you are taking them, could you pls tell me: -- Are they also delayed release? -- Says "hard capsule" on box; does that mean I could break into 20 mg portions? Actually, I guess if they are delayed release, I could not break since I would then lose the delayed capability? Also wonder if any hospitals carry the 20 mg. Thanks.

If you break them, you will destroy the matrix. So no slow release possible. If you can't get the Cymbalta (I'm sure you can!), then it might help to buy the 30mg, split them with a pill splitter to 4x7.5 mg and take 1 of those splittet every 6 hours.
