How to watch Thai TV in the UK?

Featured Replies

My wife is over in the UK atm. Is there a way to watch live Thai TV channels, preferably from a set top box without having to subscribe or something similar?

The TV I'm using is a Samsung UE50AU9000KXXU and runs on the Tizen OS if that is any help

Thanks in advance.

Try: https://iptv-org.github.io/iptv/languages/tha.m3u in conjunction with a free IPTV player, in order to see which channels are available. It states 70, but not specifically which channels there are. Best way is to just take a look.

Maybe on PC or Smartphone firstly and if the channels fit your purpose, find a free IPTV player via the Samsung App Store, if available. To save you time going through the options there, M3U IPTV is recommended, if it can be found.

There's a fair amount on YouTube, including live streamed channels as well as individual programs.

Have you tried the Thai TV apps (for the phone) with a VPN ?

Is there any you recommend? I did a Google search but there's so many to look at but I don't know which are good or not.

I think its just like the UK - each TV channel as their own app (i.e. BBC iPlayer, ITV X, Channel 4 Player etc)...

The same for Thailand (I assume) - it depends exactly what your Wife wants to watch.

Some need a VPN and the better apps have Thai names. Search Play store for whatever Thai TV is in Thai.

We use seesan tv costs about £80 a year and there’s a Hollywood movie section as well either latest movies

Although you are looking for freeware you might decide to subscribe.

I use MALIMAR TV via a ROKU device on my smart TV and find it reliable an excellent quality with all Thai, Viet, Lao, Kmer live TV and historical Thai Channel 'soaps, back to Episode 1 for catchup. Unfortunately, as I found to my cost when I installed a TV in another room of the house, the subscription is limited to a single TV.😒

I reckon most of us could make an educated guess at what that would be with a pretty good chance of being correct,

I would try YouTube as it has most Thai TV shows as well as the news.  Just let her know that on the weekends YouTube doesn't work well when the EPL is on. 555
