Until the Democrats take the House, Senate, and Oval Office.  Then the polar ice-cap will be melting again and the world was we know it will end in 5 years if we don't give all of our money to billionaires who trade carbon credits.

There is big money betting on nuclear Small Modular Reactor technology.  My own guess is that SMR technology will be the energy bridge between now and when the first fusion-based reactors become commercially viable. 
All of the so-called Green Energy will disappear off the face of the Earth when fusion-based energy solution come online.

You know who isn[t betting on SMRs? Utility companies. The continuing plummet in renewable and battery costs means that SMRs are extremely unlikely ever to be competitive. In order to promote them, some states are passing laws that make the costs of construction to be paid for by increased rates, no matter how much they run over costs. And nuclear power has a history of cost overruns.

And as for competitiveness. This is from the Authority that is building a complex of 4 SMRs in Canada. These organizations have a history of painting rosy pictures of costs. Despite which:

"OPG will be recouping the cost of the unit(s) from customers' bills over the 60-year generating life of the units and says the projected cost of about 14.9 cents per kWh would be comparable with alternative renewable energy sources. OPG points to Ontario’s Independent Electricity System Operator evaluating the new nuclear project against viable non-emitting alternatives which found that replacing the project with wind, solar, and battery storage would require 5,600 to 8,900 MW of capacity at a cost of 13.5–18.4 cents per kWh compared with the 14.9 cents."

You’re claiming climate change doesn’t exist — that’s a factual claim, and factual claims require evidence. Proof of Burden 101.
So what evidence convinced you it’s false?

And with ‘Armageddon’, you need to show evidence where any climate scientist ever said that word.
Otherwise it’s just a MAGA soundbite — Armageddon exists only in your echo chamber, not in climate science.

The sceptic will argue that anything we do could not possibly influence the climate, or effect the atmosphere. The planet is simply too large, and the population is too small to have any effect. Let the ships dump whatever they want into the ocean. The ocean is simply too large for anything we do to damage it. 

 

This frees them to buy as many plastic bottles as they please, drive filthy diesel vehicles, and live as if nothing effects anything, and behave in a very ignorant fashion.
