Recent Arrival Experience BKK

I just arrived bkk from the usa via eva lax connection through tpe. I had gotten a non imm O 90 day visa in advance from the thai visa website which used the Washington DC embassy branch.  Arrived bkk 1100. Immigration lines were moderate and did not snake out into the hall.  I had paper printed out the visa form, and gave that and my passport to the officer.  Fingerprint,  photo taken and passport stamped. I had done the tdac online and had it electronically on my phone as a file, and was prepared to show that but the officer never asked for it.  All in all 20 minutes in line.

Had carry-on only so went to magic food court.  I had booked with bell bus travel online previously.  For 300 baht total you get bus to pattaya north station then minivan to my hotel.  Noted that the regular bus by itself is now 190 baht.

Thanks for clear report.

I also arrived recently. Had the TDAC details on cell phone however not required as it's in the system.

Huge lines in my experience.

I think that arrival app links to your passport #, so they probably see it on the computer screen when they check your passport.

Yes. I'm always prepared to show it, but I've never been asked except for the first time I entered after TDAC had been introduced just a few weeks before. Nowadays they only seem to ask if they can't see it in the system.

That's correct.

BTW: For those that have not yet done a TDAC note the departure fields are optional.

Esp for expats living in Thailand just leave those fields blank.
