It takes approximately 45 minutes to drive 5 kms from Suk to 2nd Road.

I'd get your car in the garage if I were you.

That's what the bar scene does.

Pattaya has an identity crisis. They have Jazz Festivals and other events, but it's not enough to compete with the bar scene attraction. Maybe the bar scene should be watered down and put a much smaller bar scene in many cities, so the thugs don't all end up in Pattaya and Pattaya can thrive as a family resort.

Pattaya cannot attract the rich & famous, so it's only alternative is to invite in huge numbers of cheap Charlies...

The bars & girls need the employment and Thailand the revenue

Is it a tell sign living to long in Pattaya when one of the involved parties didn't come as a surprise 🤔

500B fine??

Really?

That's not going to deter anybody.

If they don't make the fine hurt, the fine becomes a joke!

Yes I find drunken foreigners, on holiday in Thailand, fighting in the street, amusing.

I also found your hostile comment amusing.

I am different, I am not frail or elderly, like dad's age. I find humor in most things. I'm a glass half full guy, not half empty, like some people here.

You must understand people are different, people have different attitudes.

Me and my positive, happy attitude will allow me to live a much longer, happier life than you.

BTW, I have 6 positive emojis against my comment above, looks like we have a many here who have the same beautiful, happy, attitude as mine.

I will just go and remove my one then. :cheesy:

Keep on scrolling mate:thumbsup:

My takeaways:

1) perfect showcase of Windmill-Style Kung Fu in the first half of the clip

2) all-in-all a great Subway commercial

You appear very pleased with yourself. I've managed to reach 84 years of age in good health without having a 'beautifil, happy attitude' at all times, being occasionally angry or sometimes fed up when things go wrong. It's called human nature.

My take always are usually

No 9   Shrimp curry.

No 12 Pancake roll.

No 23 Egg fried rice.

Ha ha, I can tell from the tone of your comment that you are exactly the same as the other antagonizers I've been in conversation with today.

Strange. Lighten up a bit.

"Middle Eastern nationals, comprising three men and two women, confronting two British nationals".

Israelis? The fact that the country of origin of the participants apart from "British" wasn't mentioned makes the origin self-evident.

Are Israelis now to be called "Middle Eastern tourists" to dilute the opprobrium for their actions?

If you were affected by that violence, you wouldn't find it amusing. It's easy to watch someone else's pain, chuckle, and say "that's a shame". Think about what you're saying, man!

what an total idiot ... pregnant woman getting involved in an altercation posing a serious risk to unborn baby.

Riding on a scooter with no helmet and an arab driver in Pattaya poses at least as much of a risk to the unborn baby.

I regularly comment on AN news article's and individual OP.

I rarely interact with other members, I only interact when I am notified. I find most of these comments I receive are hostile.

I'm happy to hear things are going well for you but it's obvious your negative comment towards me was to get a reaction. I don't understand why you think it was strange. Maybe, next time you can just keep scrolling without commenting.

If you kick out all farangs with tattoos and/or who walk around shirtless, there would be hardly anyone left.

There was a time when visible tattoos would possibly lead Thai immigration to deny entry. Yes, if they did that today they’d probably have a 50% drop in tourism but it would be a hell of a lot more pleasant for the ones who were allowed in.

Sorry to say the police and authorities need heavier fines for people causing public disorder 500 baht fine  is  a joke. Heavier fines jail or Deportation

Pattaya has no reputation to defend as its known world wide for Sex and disorder

Quality Tourists will give it a pass plenty of other places to visit 😀

Many Thai girls in Pattaya have them and prefer foreigners who have them actually.

Soon Pattaya immigration might not let in anyone who doesn't have a tattoo.

Indeed, and it is worth to note that, after some gesticulation, injuring a pregnant lady, the Brits ran away on their Mobylettes. Something they tend to blame the French for.

500 baht slap on the wrist. Deport them. Thailand doesn't need these people. Funny to watch one of the Brits jump on his motorbike and flee the scene, leaving his mate behind.

Maybe illegal, expired visa. Didn't want for the police.

All involved were apprehended and charged with fighting. No mention of any other crime. Regardless, one shouldn't flee and leave one's mate on his own.

It may be a joke for a tourist, but for many Thais 500 baht for a minor offence can hurt.

What's the answer, a two tier fine system for foreigners?

Adios them all. Pottiya has enough trash roaming around doesn’t need any more making problems.
