The family likely have wealth. Why do it? Look what happened to Thaksin, his daughter, and Yingluck.

 

Better to stay home, enjoy one's life, children,  and travel.

There should be age limits for politicians. None of these super old people should be allowed to enact laws that they won't even be alive to experience. Wtf is Chuck Grassley at 91 doing in congress in the US?

The Shinawatra family just doesn't learn. I guess when they the whole family ends up ousted from Thailand and living in Dubai they might realize what happened. Ever since Thaksin fled to there I wondered; why don't you and your family just take your multi billions of $$$'s and live your live peacefully away from politics? I guess power is addictive, once you have a taste of it it's hard to let go.

Whilst incaserated thaksin is forbidden to discuss politics with anybody and that includes any visitors. Did Thaksin's ex-wife pojaman decide this? It's well known that in earlier times she made many policies / strategies and decisions for the party.

After Thaksin was jailed she seemed to suddenly / magically reappear.
