It's a pity he didn't land a straight right on one of their surgically altered noses, and splat it all over their face. It might have deterred the others. But then again, I wonder how many more would have come out of the woodwork. Always mob handed with the high heel attack. It must be the drugs they are taking...and now carrying pepper spray?

Well from a start people could avoid A-hole places like Pattaya.

My impression of Pattaya between 1980s and now. Joni Mitchell sums it up:

They paved paradise, put up a parking lot
With a pink hotel, a boutique, and a swingin' hot spot

Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone
They paved paradise, put up a parking lot

"Where some have found their paradise, others just come to harm. " Also Joni Mitchell.

I am curious why you feel the attraction is only for non-Americans and not for USA or Canadian people.

Flight time and closer options. I can be in the tropics in about 4 hours from here. Thailand is approx 19 to 21 hours of flying.

What's your point? Your video does not show what happened prior to the altercation. For all we know he may have accosted someone, or used their services and not paid. If people get into trouble in Pattaya, it is usually because they were up to no good. Normal law abiding people do not have run ins with prostitutes like this. Many of us have had hookers come onto us. It is easily handled by, No thank you, sorry, my wife or husband is waiting for me, or, sorry I have a bad infection and the wound is leaking.

Or, alternatively, how much? Let's go.

I guess there could be an element of desperation that's mixed into the decision to go this route. I think for a lot of guys they really want to experience that which is in my opinion a free pass to have a gay experience, without the socials stigma.

Ladyboys are Mentally unstable people to sart with...

A few years ago in soi 6 a Swedish guy got knocked down by a group of Ladyboys, and one stamped on the side of his head with a Stilletto heel and killed him, no one was ever charged..

The bigger question is why so many Arab and Indian men enjoy paying to get pegged by Thai men dressed up as ladies? 🤷‍♂️ (and afterwards often robbed)

Yes !! Thanks for your empathy .

It was a traumatic experience and I wrote it about it at the time

But I will write it again for therapy reasons

I was walking past that big apartment building in thappraya road about 1pm one afternoon only to be confronted by a small lady boy who attempted to hug me and place his hand on my front shirt pocket

My reaction was to push him back , I used to do karate many moons ago so I unintentionally used a push strike shouting the words ...."ooooossss " as I used the strike ,he stumbled back and fell down and looked up at me in shock and sadness

I immediately felt so bad and immediately he got up and ran ..I ran after him shouting sorry but he ran across the road in front of that GOLD plated building, what's the name please ?

It looks a bizarre building , D something

Anyway he ran ,and I wanted to say sorry ,just the look in his eyes as he looked up at me made me cry

I wondered around Mexico City all day, with a partially open backpack. The only person who approached me there, was a helpful someone approaching me to inform me that my backpack was open and that I should be careful. I thanked them, left it open and walked on to buy some churros and hot chocolate at a renowned Churrería. By that time it was already dark. Then we walked over to some kind of festival happening at the time. No threats. No discomfort. Maybe you stand out.

Because in their own culture many Muslim men have no access to women.

And ladyboys are a step up from camels or goats.

You think there is no social stigma in having sex with a katoey? 😊

Our peers would rip into us if even the girl whom we chose was not up to scratch. A ladyboy? That story would follow you for life. That's why they travel to Asia, to do it in secret.

I used to go to Pattaya in the late 1980's it was a lot more relaxed and the girls were fun, not pushy etc.

I went for a weekend there in 2019 and went back to Rayong after a few hours, not my scene at all with the current rough crowd.

Hua Hin is great, I was there about two or three years ago, good fun, more relaxed.

I was in Acapulco a long time ago but I felt like I was in the USA.

I did not like New York at all in 1995, I never felt safe walking around, I worked in New Jersey for a year in a quiet town, but I was told never to go to Jersey City.

I parked my car near the large bus terminal in NY and as I strolled back to it at about 19:00 lots of drug sellers appeared, I spoke to two policemen on the beat and they told me I should not be in this area at this time of the day.

I was asked to extend my contract for two more years, no thanks was my reply.

My next contract was in Amsterdam where I worked with a lot of Americans, we used to stroll about from bar to bar up until 1am, they could not believe how safe it was to do that in a capital city based on their own experience in the USA.

But in Thailand I prefer Phuket due to the high standard of living and its international style, I have been living here for four years and visiting for thirty.

A lot of people only go to the small dodgy areas and miss out on the rest of what the place has to offer.

Fore example I only recently discovered my local 'Central Shopping' area has the largest aquarium in Thailand which I visited yesterday and another floor of international restaurants.

The good thing is at the aquarium exPats pay the same price as the locals, 650 baht instead of the tourist price of 1300 baht.

While I do agree with what you're saying having sex with another guy (without breasts) would be stigmatized even more. I'm a pretty open-minded guy but nobody can convince me that there's not a gay component involved, especially when you consider the fact that 90% of katoeys in Thailand are pre-op.

Places like Pattaya etc. are a scam paradise from many ladyboys and ladies... goes with the turf. If you end up in an altercation with a ladyboy, then you only have yourself to blame, as you should have distanced yourself from the situation as soon as you realised it was a dude in drag attempting to look like a Motley Crew band member.

However, I can see why many people who visit or live in such places could end up experiencing the "Hotel California" effect.

Actually my embassy warned me about crimes. They told me to never take a beetle taxi in the streets because many foreigners have been forced by the taxidriver who had weapons and go to an ATM and empty all credit cards. Some even get killed.Me and my regulary taxidriver went down to the most dangerous area in Mexico city and he told me to lock my door and not open the carwindow because could get robbed at red light. We also went to some nightclubs where beautiful Colombian girls worked. That places was safe. The security there was really big guys.

Cannot say that I am ambivalent on this subject. I don't go out of my way to meet Gays nor Ladyboys. Haven't ever had the desire to visit a ladyboy show, not even for a 'laugh'. To each, his own. No ill treatment from my side. Just a preference to keep my distance.

You've never been to the Alice. Stop watching so much television. If you really want a fun night out try Katherine on pension day.

There/are are warnings for many cities. Rio was supposed to be dangerous when I visited. We strolled into favelas, cycled around the city, walked through local parks, with no issues. Even walked home from an airport. No guides. No tour groups and no staying where everyone else chooses to stay.

Travelled around on local buses. Life is what you make it.

If you can connect with nature, you don't worry so much. If fearful, we would not have those experiences and memories.

Of course you hear the stories. Someone told of a tourist getting out of a taxi in Rio on reaching their(probably expensive) hotel and having their expensive sunglasses snatched right from their face. At least they weren't physically harmed.

Instead of connecting with normal people and everyday life, you were cosseted and didn't connect with real life. Like travelling to Pattaya and thinking that the central area represents the whole of Pattaya. People ranting about how dangerous blah blah blah... really just nonsense. Of course if you are a disrespectful creature, you might meet with some resistance. If you are a good person, you can connect with the good in other people and create yourself a good experience.

Hence you have a very narrow view of Mexico City.

The clip linked below appears to show an Arab or Indian man in Pattaya getting pepper sprayed in the face as he tries to flee in a taxi, then whacked with women's shoes, knocked down, and kicked all over by a group of angry transgenders.

Pattaya videos like this do not seem so rare on Instagram. It makes you wonder how often something like this plays out for Arab and Indian “nightlife” tourists down there.

If only there were some simple way to avoid getting maced and curb pounded during your beach holiday to paradise?

Pattaya is a dirty city.

What is the difference between an Australian and yoghurt?

Ans: Yogurt has culture. 😀

There is a simple way, DON'T BE A BLOODY GOOSE.

Behaviour, respect and don't hang around ladyboy's.

Oh yet another stupid made up word, transphobic.

It seems the word phobia has taken on a different meaning, it means someone who has a different opinion to the person misusing the word.

Islamophobia for example is where a white person says something negative about the religion, there is not Christophobia or Hinduophobia made up words yet as far as I know.

What about lazy people, do they have workophobia?

Stupid words used by stupid people.
