Issue with Facebook reels opening in another window (Windows 11)

Many times when I go to a facebook reel / video on PC (Windows 11)....it comes up with a play button...when I hit the play button the video opens another facebook window automatically. If it is a series of reels from one person its totally annoying going back and forth between windows. I have enabled the autoplay feature...logged in and out and hasn't made any difference. I have cleared cache etc, still doing it. I don't mind clicking on the play button so much as going in and out of different pop up windows.

Anyone know a fix or having the same problem?
