Irrespective of your clouded one-sided view, killing this woman was not and will never be justified however you like to dress it up, twist, manipulate and blame the woman, she was murdered by an out of control gun happy nutter.

She refused to obey instructions from a guy with a gun, if he was trigger happy or out of control as some are alleging then that in itself, rightly or wrongly is a very good reason to do as one is told.

Had she done as she was told and got out of the car with her hands up she would not have been shot I would have done exactly that and I would still be here today, I certainly would not have agreed to my partner videoing the incident

She STILL didn't deserve to be murdered! Fox gaslighting.

She was not murdered. My point was to contradict the inaccurate belief that she was a simple bystander caught up in an ICE raid.

And MY point is ICE is completely out of control. There is NO justification for her murder nor the lies from the administration in an attempt to cover it up. Classic deflection.

rubbish, the fact that she is a mother has no bearing on this incident , the reason for mentioning it was clearly emotional, see my previous post

There is nothing "pedantic" about calling this out

And if he had said, father - guess that would be ok with you, right?

As expected you guess wrong , No that would also be irrelevant and as ridiculous as referring to her lesbian lover as her wife or husband

No.

You are correct. But this was NOT a traffic violation. It was a deliberate technique to interfere with the ICE officers as they were performing their duty. Which made her subject to their jurisdiction. She was part of a group of cars whose sole purpose was to follow ICE agents around and get in their way. That is why, in addition to blocking the street, she leaned on her horn for a good 3 minutes. Meanwhile, he wife got out to film the whole thing. Would she film a mere traffic violation? I think not.

ice had police and FBI as part of their Raid contingent, and it was their responsibility not ICE. The ICE guys were all pumped up on adrenaline and their own ego, (like many law enforcement), and caused the relative calm but annoying situation to turn into a unnecessary murder.

Do you have a link that supports this?

Would you prefer it if social workers pumped up on wokeness were tasked with the deportation of illegal immigrants , many of whom are convicted sex offenders and many of whom are violent gang members, ( albeit with a right to a family life lol)

This Donnie-troll pretends to be intellectual, but those who support Donnie and his politics have to be sick in the brain.
As it says so aptly in Goethe's 'FAUST': '... and if you are not willing, I need force.' This is Donnie's Maga policy. And that includes ICE.

Assuming facts not known. Do you have any evidence that the shooter knew her?

If it would be like you say in your initial OP, then it would have been a very bad ICE agent to not be aware of which people could pose a threat to them. Therefore, it´s quite sure that he knew who she was.

We could probably say about most murder victims (as my dad used to say about crime victims) "if they had stayed at home they would be alright".

True enough. Still murdered though.

How could an ICE agent possibly know who was a threat and who wasn't?

Anyone inside a vehicle is a threat.

Seems to me that you guys make her up to be a well-known person. If an agent no have knowledge of such facts, then he has not done his homework.

And why would anyone inside a vehicle be a threat? Most people just go out and drive to work or the supermarket.

How would an agent be expected to know who this woman is?

What "homework" should a law enforcement officer be doing at the end of their shift?

11 minutes ago, Gottfrid said:

Because they can use the vehicle as a weapon.

And the people that do, have no issues with federal law enforcement.

Do you generally support deporting illegal aliens?

  1. An agent should be aware of apparently known person who can pose a threat. It´s in the agents work assignment.

  2. I was not using homework as a school thing. I let you figure out the meaning.

  3. Just because they can use a vehicle as a weapon is no reason. If I am walking on the street with a plastic bag of 2 kg frozen ham, am I also a threat as I can use the bag and ham to smack someone's brain in? The fact is that people in cars only pose a threat in smaller than 1 in 10000 of cases.

  4. In general Yes!

17 hours ago, Yellowtail said:

No. Not when someone is gunned-down for no good reason.

Everyone in a crowd of protestors is a threat, and thousands are "known".

Do you have anything that supports your claim that every ICE agent should be aware every person that is a known threat as part of their work assignment?

Their workdays are supposed to be spent apprehending illegal aliens, not dealing with "protestors" illegally interfering.

So with 255 million drivers and 300 millions registered vehicles in the US, 1 in 10,000 is over 25,000

No its not just my opinion. its not up for discussion!

Until a person has been convicted in a court of law for 'murder' of the woman, its not murder.

Nobody has even been charged.

She was shot and 'killed' big difference!

Correct, but it appears some members on this board do not understand the basic rules of law!
