Even if thailand wanted to be more vigilant, I imagine there is not a lot of money to be gained by allocating resources and manpower to finding people such as this swede.

You wonder why guys like this are not picked up on arrival at immigration if a country has a outstanding arrest warrant on them I would have thought he would have been red flagged on arrival

Maybe the Red notice was issued after he had left his home country and they realised he'd absconded. Then issued the notice?

Meantime mr red bull continues to enjoy his freedom after killing a cop while hoped up on cocaine.

Maybe the swede just didn't understand how many big envelopes need to be distributed.

I wanted to read the comments to see how long it would take for someone to mention the Red Bull Guy. 15th comment. I'm sure Red Bull Guy isn't living an under the radar life.

Well - it's a pretty obvious link... A man is picked up in Thailand with an Interpol Red Notice hanging over him.

Meanwhile, the supposedly wanted Thai fugitive - also branded with an “Interpol Red Notice” - just happens to possess one that has achieved a near-mythical status. It cannot be found online. Anywhere. At all. Vanished without trace.

Now, yes, we’re told that not all Red Notices are public. That’s the defence. That’s the hill they’ve chosen to die on. And they (Thai Authorities) - along with Liverpool Lou - are clinging to it with sincerity.

So, A Red Notice he still manages to enter Thailand, ok, naybe Red Notice raised after he entered, but why was it noticed until locals complained, is there no networking between Interpol the thai police and between thai police and immigration... there's something seriously wrong.

Who else is "hiding" in Thailand that the police and immigration don't know about...

I heard a few. Hitler was one, Stalin another and maybe the Iran leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Lets be open about this Red Bull matter. He will never be charged:

a) because he is too rich and

b) because Thailand is too corrupt at all levels of government.

Lets just hope there is Karma and he gets run over by a cop one day.😍

Took a bit of time but, Whoop! There it is. The inevitable, irrelevant and pathetic red bull guy comment whenever an Interpol red notice pops up in the news.

I notice a whole bunch of armchair Sherlock types chiming in about how the RTP somehow missed a clue when this guy passed through immigration, based solely on the very sparse detail about the guy, when the red notice was issued or whether he used a fake ID. He may even have been entitled to have two passports you dullards.

But no, the usual Thai bash pile-on was just too hard to resist.

Well done RTP for getting another piece of Euro trash binned.
