Solar and Storage Live Show Thailand

I had two options

I strongly recommend a 10kwp hybrid device with 16-18 panels with 625Wp power, 1x10kw hybrid inverter (1 or 3phase) and 30 kwh battery storage capacity. This device would not only give you nearly 80-90% energy during the day (allover the year)but will be powerful enough to charge your batteries also...that's why 5kwp will not be sufficient.

With 2x15kwh battery storage devices your price would be approx thb 330,000 all inclusive, handed over in good order and a guaranteed after sales service with group chat on Line 24/7.

And this is without the new cable stretch of 2x 300m 50mm alu cable, and volt regulator.

Some photos from the show Chaweewan had a Sigenstor Inverter, Battery and 25kW EV DC bi-directional charger stack, which was nice to see in the flesh. They have recently installed a double Sigenst

It was our first show. I was surprised at its size. But I found what I was looking for, an installer introduced by Bandersnatch at the show (thank you Paul) and 2 Chinese manufacturers of inverters

  • Just to meet up would have been nice but still completing our 3 phase 20kW solar installation. Waiting on a replacement phase protector for the ATS. Today changing the EV charger position and from si

@Hummin Thanks for posting your quote. Nobody at the show last week would give me any prices for Sigenergy products. Did you get any other prices like the 12kW inverter or the DC Bi-directional chargers 12kW/25kW?

I believe the 12kw is 3phase?

I didn't get any other solutions for my estimated needs.

Thanks, do post some pics of your install I am sure there will be some interest

12kW is the biggest single phase inverter, 3 phase have 20kW and 25kW

What do you guys do with your batteries concerned temperature?

I might put my batteries in a tempered room which will be my gym, keeping the batteries room temperature around 25-27 Celsius. Is that necessary?

Sigenstore batteries have estimated 20 years life or 10 000 cycles, but I guess that's under perfect conditions? Anyway they got 10 year warranty

Why do you turn off? So they don't see the meter running backwards?

Yep,

They come on 27 (but sometimes earlier) so I turn off on 25.

And 2-3 days off sets my bill at around 150-200bht a month.

Nah, my batteries sit in the corner of the kitchen out of the sun, and they're fine there.

The big battery cooling debate:

Active Cooling v

Active + Passive Ventilation = Passive Cooling

You can't have both

I went for placing my batteries in a cool, well insulated shaded room with a 50 inch ceiling fan running and lots of open windows

I have been monitoring the temperature of my mechanical room since I installed solar and batteries 8 years ago.
