I don't know if this is just willful ignorance or you really do believe there is no difference between Trump and Obama. It is absolutely true that Obama deported more illegal immigrants than any other POTUS but crucially he also;

• Expanding the population eligible for the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

• Allowing parents of U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents to request deferred action and employment authorization for three years.

• Expanding the use of provisional waivers of unlawful presence to include the spouses and sons and daughters of lawful permanent residents and the sons and daughters of U.S. citizens.

• Modernised and improved non-immigrant visa programs to grow the economy and create jobs.

• Promoted citizenship education and public awareness for lawful permanent residents and provided an option for naturalization applicants to use credit cards to pay the application fee.

Noone has ANY issues with deporting CRIMINAL illegal immigrants (what Trump promised to do) or indeed those that bypass the system BUT there also needs to be a sustainable system in place to allow for those that are genuine asylum seekers or indeed children of illegals and the likes. What Trump is doing is just absolute chaos and VERY one sided - get them ALL out regardless of any circumstances (as has been evidenent with people being detained at asylum hearings). Whether he himself was involved is VERY debatable but he absolutely knew his big pal Epstein “liked them young” as he is quoted as saying and still kept contact with him knowing this.

The British ambassador to the US, Peter Mendleson also kept in contact with Epstein after he was charged and was forced to resign because of this.

Obviously too much for you lot to put a moral equivalent on Trump for the same thing. The least he should be doing is resigning as well.
