Suicide be hard not easy.

For most yes, but for the percentage who actually succeeding, not so, and maybe easier than actually dealing with their pain and issues.

No, with age many mellow out more, realizing how hard many have it in life and more forgiving to their mistakes and anger.

The main thing or issue is, it is copeable when you are younger, when have more energy, and not so many or so much chronic pain yet, but when older, you have to pay for your shortcuts, so for many that is not manageable, and they choose the easy option out. Nobody can say it is easy, but for them it is easier than have to change their life.

I got 3 friends now who choosed to take their life, and many more who most likely camouflaged suicides as accidents. And all of us was willing to die in action for the next experience and the next. That's also a lifestyle "Risking it all for Nothing"

You wouldnt know the issue. It could be BDD.

I find beef makes be feel good. Must be the nutrients.

Beef consumption has been linked to reduced risk of depression in several recent studies, particularly through Mendelian randomization analyses using large datasets like the UK Biobank. A 2023 study by the National Health Research Institutes (NHRI) found that beef intake was associated with a lower risk of major depression, while vegetables and fish showed no significant effect. This suggests a potential causal protective relationship between beef consumption and mental health.

Maybe kreatin is one element?

Mental health isn't just this or that,

For my group of people who where willing to risk everything, is a bit more complex than just a diagnosis, but common for all of us, was when we where forced to be inactive, that's when problems started for real, as long we could self medicate through activities and also creativity, we flourished, we had goals, plans and a function being those crazy people who did this selfish egocentric stunts for living.

I guess I was lucky to have or be solution oriented.

Life is good, but you have the learn how to live good with who you are and what you have.

Why? As said, a good day starting to tell your brain this is a good day, it will be a great day, and life is good, then do your morning program for body and mind, then 10-15 min done kind of walking, rope jumping, shadow boxing, rowing, bicycle or anything before have coffe and then breakfast.

I do this every morning

Rowing 10 min, stretching boxing, or anything, as well walking the dogs,

I think most mental issues are linked to the body. Lots of people don't like their face or body. The outside world has little to do with behaviour.

So yesterday when I caught you replying to your own post before you deleted it , obviously forgot to log out as Harris ,abusing yourself before you realised you hadn't logged out with the Harris name I see now your other handles

Darl just a hint...if your going to use other handles try to wait a bit of time before replying to yourself

Have you thought about seeing a doctor? Maybe a urinary tract infection?

Behavioral changes are rarely intentional and usually stem from a combination of biological and environmental factors:

  • Biological Brain Changes: The deterioration of brain cells, particularly in areas like the frontal and temporal lobes, can lead to a loss of emotional control and "filters".

  • Communication Breakdown: As language skills decline, individuals may use aggression to communicate basic unmet needs, such as pain, hunger, thirst, or a need to use the bathroom.

  • Fear and Confusion: Memory loss makes the world feel unpredictable. A person may become "mean" or aggressive as a defensive response to feeling threatened by people or situations they no longer recognize.

  • Internal Distress: Factors like poor sleep, certain medications, or medical issues (e.g., urinary tract infections) can lower a person's tolerance and cause sudden irritability.

Yes,

Whatever people do and make changes, you will always feel better if you believe it works, thats the trick for your chemistry in your brain. As long as you do something that is reckonend as healthy, and you believe in it, or you feel different in a positive way, it works even it is real or not. Placebo is a strong and effective tool for a better life. At least if it is harmless changes.

Beef is also linked to heart disease. Choose your poison.

Debunked. Recent research presents a nuanced view on beef and heart disease, challenging the long-held belief that beef is inherently harmful.

Key Findings from High-Quality Studies:

  • A Penn State study published in November 2025 found that eating moderate amounts of lean beef (up to 2.5 ounces per day) as part of a Mediterranean diet did not increase blood levels of trimethylamine N-oxide (TMAO), a metabolic compound linked to higher cardiovascular risk. This was in contrast to an average American diet with regular beef.

  • A comprehensive 2024 systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials concluded that consuming two 3-ounce servings of unprocessed beef daily had no significant impact on most cardiovascular disease risk factors, including blood pressure, cholesterol, and triglycerides.

How you experience your childhood, and how you learn to think, react and behave do have a great influence on your physical body.

But if you start training your brain, even in your elderly days, you can learn to produce happy chemicals and hormones again. Especially if you start doing some new things, that makes you move, sit less, and also exercise and eat happy food!

Beer, cigars and some smoke increases my happy hormones.
