Dickheads, flog 'em and hang 'em.

Public flogging with plenty of publicity would definitely get the attention of disgraceful artists wannabes.

This kind of behavior is disgraceful. Spray-painting a 400-year-old Buddhist temple isn’t just “tourist mischief” — it’s vandalism against a sacred cultural site that locals have worked hard to preser

  • Enough said. Off to a kangaroo court for Rolf Harris.

Idiots! not artists. Lock them up. Make them repaint the wall at their expense. Oh wait... they're probably broke.

I have no idea what that juvenie scribbling represents.

I doubt they have any idea either, Banksy it ain't, no doubt it meant something at 1am after a few spliffs and a bottle of Sang Som.

I'm Australian.

Deport them. They don't deserve to be here.

I would like to see the Australian authorities cancel their passports permanently, so these idiots never get to embarrass other Australians in a foreign country again.

I'm actually rather fond of graffiti and street art that's well done, but there's a time and a place for it, on the side of a warehouse in an industrial district it's OK, but not on the side of a temple wall. That is just disrespectful.

Our Embassy should take note of this case and remember it when these individuals come back to renew their passports.

As the subject Australians are tourists in Thailand, wouldn't they renew their passports in Australia through the Australian Passport Office? But it seems incumbent that the Australian Embassy in Thailand should report the Thai cultural abuse by the two subject Australian citizens to APO.

More "high quality" Western tourists, since many people who post anti-Indian/ Chinese rants on this website seem to demand these.

I don't think jail for this, but I would assume these idiots would be put on a plane home, fined and get a 5 years ban.

I agree with you on that one.

Except for the "...five years ban."

Make it a lifetime ban.

If they haven't grown up by now, another five years won't make any difference.

Besides, news of lifetime bans being given out for this type of behaviour might have a deterrent effect in Australia and other yob-producing countries.
