No - but have you seen this -

https://www.theregister.com/2026/02/09/openclaw_instances_exposed_vibe_code/?utm_source=daily&utm_medium=newsletter&utm_content=article

<For those unfamiliar with the saga of Clawdbot, er Moltbot, no, wait, OpenClaw (it keeps changing names), it's an open-source, vibe-coded agentic AI platform that has been, frankly, an unmitigated disaster for those worried about security.>

(and where has the quote box gone that you used to be able to add?)

lol .. the ‘s’ in openclaw stands for security,

I think there is a lot of hype on both sides, like the guy who claimed his assistant stole his credit card details and purchased a 3000 USD course to allow it to fulfil his task lol, rrrright.

I find a lot of times Apple have placed a lot of control in place to not permit actions, I wanted the assistant to write notes for me as I use notes / reminders / calendar as my main productivity suite. The skills are unreliable and I gave the assistant its own google account, it has a calendar thats sync’d one way. It doesn’t know any email addys other than my family. I think it’s important to distance the ai.

So far I have had it writing arduino code and it did a really good job of listening to what I wanted, fulfilling the brief and producing a fun little toy. I have been using discord to interact, but yesterday I had an idea to do some research into LINE messenger, maybe there is some mileage there offering services to businesses. Every idea I have is not possible to implement, the Japanese developers don’t allow these actions.

I cant open the link you sent, but for sure, there are security concerns, I have seen all the videos, but at the moment it’s quite fun, I have a daily limit of tokens and I’m working on setting up services, developing skills and working with the assistant until the tokens run out.

I was just wondering if anyone else is experimenting and how we can use this technin Thailand.

Another mention of it in this article although the they are not sure if it was the bot or it's {hopefully} human handler 😀

And Sam Altman bought openclaw ..

This is really exciting, the security issues need to be addressed, and hopefully more people will understand.

Just one thing I’m working on, I want to get more vegetables from my garden, so my agent is logging weather data on influxdb, it’s written the code to build a local temperature sensor using a spare nodemcu, it’s built a database in obsidian - which I have no clue about yet, a dashboard in grafana, and it has access to a calendar in Apple calendar. I have a page in bookstack for each of the vegetables, it researched and wrote a garden guide. I added some data this year from when I planted and how long before I saw some activity, I guess that will move to obsidian - the agent will start to cross reference times and weather patterns and adapt the calendar, letting me know when I need to start to plant seeds. I started creating a calendar myself a year back but now I have more data to apply.

Happy that it is working for you.

You may want to consider posting something in the Plants or Farming forum as others may find it useful perhaps......

No.Not using it.

Because, I am not crazy. And, also because...

I would never use any of Sammy Boy's garbage products.

OpenAI is going down, and Sammy Boy with it, and then the Claw will be next.

There is nothing really so special about The CLAW that other companies cannot do better.

Using autonomous agents, at this early date, is just NOT a wise thing to do.

errr .. ok.

You often rattle on about AI, so you just use a chatbot to chat over using it in the real world?

good idea - I could do with some assistance - I have had a good week, its all about teaching the model, I could do with building the instructions.

Of course, we are talking about installing and using agent systems for the consumer, and not for the researcher, when I say...

No, No, NO....

We do need more work from researchers, and so playing around with agentic AI systems, for those that understand the limitations, is necessary and interesting.

BaiDu has added, according to some reports, CLAW to it's search.

How and Why and What was the result.

They have had over a month to test this, almost, since just prior to Chinese Lunar New Year.

Well, who are the one's who believe that their being first with the CLAW will make them rich beyond their dreams?

It ain't gonna happen..

Yet fools must be suffered, at least until they crash and burn.

Here is a wonderful short clip of a fool flying off the Eiffel Tower.

He hesitates three times, finally takes the plunge, and then they measure the crater left in the sod below.

He was no different from the new users of Altman's CLAW product.

But, at least, we have a vid. And, the music in this vid is magnificent.

So, his plunge was not all for naught, nor a total loss.

One year from now, the AI playing field will be clearer.

Gemini will be the winner.

Philanthropic AI will be 2nd, and for enterprise.

Sammy Boy will have bitten the dust, just as in this vid above.

Linux Desktop will be at 12-percent adoption, and most new users will have come from jumping Microsoft's foundering ship.

And, the world will be making just a bit more sense than it does now...

MARK MY WORDS...Folks...!!!!

No, im talking about using a unified system to improve my yields in my garden. Youtube seems to be full of tech-bros saying they are making $$ but really they are grifters with no real use case, if they are making money on something other than selling a coures, its all very vague - some people admittedly are using n8n or coding in commercial workflow, but prolly a small percentage. I can see a few use cases in my life here, just wondering if anyone else could.

I should post your replies into openclaw, to see if it comes back with a one sentence explanation.

It's all fantasy and hokum.

Scam Altman is the King of Scam, these days.

Nobody can outdo Sammy Boy when it comes to nonsense and hyperbole.

The nitwit Altman has just about zero formal education, and almost no exposure to science training.

Sam is a train-wreck, up ahead.

Yes.

And I can see through him like a glass door.

Is it surprising?

You are discounting the AI-Gemini effect.

These days, installing Linux on the desktop is pretty mindless a task, and anyone can do it.

It's not like installing Linux on a desktop 25 years ago, by any mean.

Windows is now becoming a subscription service, and very few users want that.

Windows is now completely integrated with AI, and very few users want that. This is a repeat of past disasters.

AI will not be introduced into the Linux kernel.

Using any good AI, such as Gemini THINKING, a very decent and expert installation of Leap 16 can be accomplished even more easily than installing Windows 11, and any linux knowledge of the user is unimportant.

The only barrier to increasing Linux usage on the desktop is ignorance of the masses.
