Farage Warns of Gated Future for British Jews

Nigel Farage, leader of Reform UK, has issued a warning that British Jews may soon need to live in "gated communities." At his party's Jewish Alliance launch, Farage shared his observations from Strasbourg during his MEP tenure, where Jewish communities faced significant security threats.

Farage recounted passing a Jewish school in Strasbourg where children, aged four or five, were escorted by armed soldiers. He highlighted similar situations in Brussels, noting that successful Jewish residents often reside in gated communities with 24-hour security. "I'm afraid, on the current path, that is the future for the British Jewish community," Farage stated, underscoring his concerns for their safety.

While Farage insisted he is not advocating for "special rights," he emphasized the urgent need for increased protection due to "a direct threat" against British Jews. His remarks highlighted a trend he's observed, urging action to prevent similar circumstances in the UK.

Robert Jenrick also addressed the event, condemning "hate marches" by pro-Palestine protesters as assaults on national unity. His comments aligned with Farage's, promoting a vision of a cohesive, multi-faith, and multi-ethnic Britain.

Despite facing criticism for previous comments about multiculturalism in Birmingham, Jenrick reiterated the importance of tackling antisemitism and ensuring Jewish security. He stressed that the Reform UK party is committed to safeguarding all communities under "one flag."

The event featured speeches from notable figures including Suella Braverman and Richard Tice, who joined in expressing firm support for protecting Jewish life in the UK. Attendees described the launch as a powerful gathering focused on confronting sectarianism and promoting safety for all.

The party's stance reflects a broader effort to address and combat antisemitic threats while fostering an integrated society. Farage's call to action highlights the need for vigilance and proactive measures to ensure the safety and integration of Jewish communities across the UK.

Key Takeaways:

  • Nigel Farage warns of potential security challenges for British Jews.

  • Robert Jenrick emphasizes unity in facing antisemitic threats.

  • Reform UK reinforces the need to protect Jewish communities.

Better to call them concentration camps.

He's right of course.

We've seen the violence against Jews many times already on British streets. Given the changing Demographics of the UK and the antisemitic Labour government it will only get worse.

If the radical Zionists achieve their dream of Eretz Israel by forcing tbe Palestinians out of Gaza and the West Bank, then diaspora Jews worldwide will pay the price.

In countries with large Muslim populations a peaceful existence for Jews will become untenable.

They will make aliyah whether they want to or not.

Sadly, there is a rise in anti-Semitism and it needs to be condemned and combatted.

However, as usual, this is <deleted>-stirring by The Daily Express and, unfortunately also apparently by Farage in this instance.

Farage calls for extra security for the Jewish community and then complains when that extra security is provided.

Yes, some Jews chose to live behind gates - either as a family unit or as part of a community - but these gated communities are not solely inhabited by Jews. Wealthier individuals of various faiths and atheists also live in gated communities.

The main reason why Jews - and anyone else - leaves Central Brussels is simple: There are much more pleasant places to live.

The idea that a government - headed by a PM whose own children are being brought up in the Jewish faith - is anti-Semitic is simply ridiculous.

Along with British Christians.

300,000 Jews--that's a lot of moobans! How about reconciliation for all practicing religionists?

Racism is racism, on both sides. This is just a govt scare tactic, not to mention scaring up votes.

That's not what the great book preaches.

"Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have forbidden and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture - [fight] until they give the jizyah willingly while they are humbled." (Noble Qur'an 9:29)

It’s not a Government scare tactic, it’s Rightwing scare tactic.

Farage sowing fear and division, it’s all he’s got.

No surprise that you would attack someone defending the Jewish community.

Perhaps Farage might want to purge all the anti-semitic members of Reform UK first!

Fighting can be accomplished with words more easily than with violence. I'm sure the Bible has similar quotes.

Yes and Jihad doesn't really mean war. It actually means love thy neighbour. 😄

With that level of apologism you should apply for a senior role with The Met Police.
