Six victims were tragically killed at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School, marking the deadliest school shooting in Canada in decades. Among the victims were several students and a teacher. Two additional victims, identified as the suspect’s relatives, were discovered at a residence in the small town of 2,400 people. Authorities initially reported a higher death toll but later confirmed one injured victim survived.

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney conveyed his condolences to the Tumbler Ridge community, stating, "the nation mourns with you." Mass shootings are notably rare in Canada, which enforces stricter gun control laws compared to the US.

As the investigation progresses, the focus remains on understanding the reasons behind this devastating event and providing support to those affected in the tight-knit community. Authorities continue to gather information and urge anyone with insights into the suspect’s background or possible motive to come forward.

The incident has reignited discussions on gun control and the need for comprehensive measures to prevent such tragedies. As Canada grapples with the shock of this event, the authorities emphasize the importance of community resilience and unity in healing and moving forward.

Key Takeaways:

  • An 18-year-old suspect identified in Canada's deadliest school shooting in decades.

  • Eight victims, including students, a teacher, and relatives, confirmed.

  • Prime Minister Carney extends national condolences and solidarity.

From RT.com:

Mass Shooter 2.jpg

At a press conference on Wednesday, Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Deputy Commissioner Dwayne McDonald named the suspect as “an 18-year-old female by the name of Jesse van Rootselaar.”

However, when pressed about the suspect’s gender identity, he said: “I can say that Jesse was born as a biological male who approximately … six years ago, began to transition to female, and identified as female, both socially and publicly.”

Most of the time. Try to get better sources for your “facts“. RT is Russia propaganda.

I have about 60 News sites on bookmark. RT is great for the stories that the MSM dodges. Like transgender and lefty mass shooters. They don't conform to the preferred narrative.

I'm sure there are equivalents in China and North Korea where, like RT, the government controls everything reported on. But to use them as a source for facts is ridiculous.

Rubbish. We already have very strong gun controls. This has nothing to do with that.

Or The BBC in the UK.

Anyway at least we can now see the truth even if it takes a Russian outlet to provide it.

Yet another mentally ill bloke who thinks he's a woman.

So the news source offends you more than the truth. Says alot about you.

I'd say this guy killing others including his own mother is the story.

They always attack the source when they don't like the facts being reported.

Man... You have to admire Canadian politeness:

Royal Canadian Mounted Police Deputy Commissioner Dwayne McDonald only admitted that the 18-year-old was born a male when he was pressed on why police were “hiding” the biological gender of the shooter.

“We identify the suspect as they chose to be identified in public and in social media,” he told reporters during a press conference earlier. “I can say that Jesse was born as a biological male, who approximately– the information that I have– approximately six years ago began to transition to female and identified as female both socially and publicly.

The guy just murdered a bunch of people, and the RCMP cares about his feelings. It doesn't get more polite (and Canadian) than that.

Contrast that to Sheriff Grady Judd of Florida fame:

  • “And you go, ‘Well, he might have had a mental health issue,’ well, of course he did. People don’t murder people unless they’re nut-so.”

So, they finally grew a spine and released the deluded psycho tranny's indentity. Notice how lots of MSM outlets are posting pictures of him as a 12 year-old instead of the sorry-ass drag-queen he really looks like... pure manipulation.

Tumbler Ridge is quite small?

I wonder if he was the only gay in the village?

RT never publishes stories contrary to the Putin agenda. How many stories critical of the ongoing mass murder in Darfur have you seen? Any stories critical of China or iran? RT picks western news items that will be disruptive and that are presented so as to incite upset.

I have looked at some of the Canadian MSM and none with the exception of the biased CBC are concealing the Transgender aspect. Canadian media rarely publishes photos or names of accused criminals. The CBC as a practice is unlikely to identify anyone implicated in a serious crime.

I don't believe that he was gay. He was a Transgender and they neither identify as gay, nor are considered to be a part of the gay community. It is one of the reasons why they are so emotionally isolated. They are rejected by everyone.

Another false flag? 🤔

They do want an unarmed citizenry after all.

Oh yes, there's a big plot. Thing is, 25%+ of Canadian homes have not been told because the country has a large rural population that is armed and a large number of recreational shooters and hunters, almost all of whom are responsible gun owners.

Not much different from CNN or MSNOW, who rarely report anything contrary to the DNC agenda. That's why I copy snippets of the RT articles (and CNN and MSDNC) and do a web search to see what other venues are saying.

Not to mention that there's a time zone difference and RT often reports hours ahead of the Western MSM. I'd like to believe that's a time zone thing, but I suspect Western MSM is shamed into reporting the rest of the story when it shows up in RT or one of the right wing media sources. Then they can no longer squelch it.

Except the hideous harridans (they're usually female for some reason) who scream that tranny males are birthing persons.

We need to look at the foreign media as the Western media is just woke propaganda.

The Times of India had the most honest reporting yesterday, and now, ironically, it's RT.

Obviously, you should have enclosed 'news' in quotes....

Even here...though less blatantly. I'm happy I'm a polite Canadian rather than an American boor. Fear of foreign news! Some of the sites cited on AN are waaay darker than RT. The fact he/she was trans makes no difference to the tragedy. He/she was, to quote a Yank, nutso. Another copycat of the US. Tumbler Ridge: Pop. 2,400

CBC, like the BBC, is 100% state propaganda no different than Pravda.

All wicked agendas for the dumb masses.
