That's a pathetic response. You are talking to strangers.

Insults on the internet are often rooted in projection, where individuals attribute their own insecurities, flaws, or unwanted traits onto others. This behavior is frequently driven by anonymity, lack of real-world consequences, and emotional distance, which lower inhibitions and amplify aggressive or defensive reactions.

  • Projection occurs when someone insults another for qualities they themselves fear or dislike in themselves—such as calling someone "lazy" when they are struggling with self-discipline.

  • Psychological research and online discourse suggest that many insults, especially those involving personal attacks or assumptions about someone’s thoughts or identity, reflect the insulter’s internal conflicts rather than objective truth.

  • However, not all insults are projection—some stem from genuine anger, ideological disagreement, or malicious intent, especially when used strategically to harm or manipulate

Mainly the diet, excess of booze, wine, beer that blows those pot bellies.

Of course lack of exercise but the over fat diets do not help.

Look at all those "sunday specials" boasted all over social media with excess of pork, eggs, fat, ham, sausage, bacon....

You're kidding!

So you're saying that diet and exercise have an effect on body weight?

Well I'll be.

Isn't it you that's told us multiple times you're always visiting a variety of doctors, weekly in fact? People who exercise and eat healthy for years usually aren't going to doctors on a weekly basis.

I agree mostly. However, as a former athlete who abused my body for years by trying to stay at the top of my choosen sport, I do have a bit of a different perspective. I have had over 8 major surgeries related to overuse injuries. I still work out but at a much reduced level and try to eat well, but have to admit that I am quite broken and end up seeing the orthopedic and pain doctors much more than I would have had I sat on my ass most of my life. 😔

Did much the same to myself lifting very heavy weights in Squats, Deadlifts, Overhead Presses and Bench. Didn't listen to the older gym rats who told me I shouldn't lift so much, although I kinda knew it anyway. Knees and shoulders were damaged. It kept me in great shape, along with a healthy diet, but I'm paying the price now with those joints.
