What Actually Gives You Pleasure?

Seeing my daughter repeat words I've taught her in English, and saying words I never heard from her before. Seeing how she treats others and animals, also taught by me.

Listening to music while driving and holding hands with my girlfriend, sharing music she would likely have never heard before being a Thai, and having her enjoy it. (Mark Knopfler, Dire Straits, John Illsley, Neal Casal, Moody Blues, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Journey, Bad Company, Gordon Lightfoot and Gerry Rafferty some of her favorites).

Having the neighborhood dogs running to greet me when I walk up the dirt road. Going back home to visit my children and their families.

Shooting a big buck and catching a big Bass or Pickerel.

Eating certain Thai foods my girlfriend knows I like, and going out to eat western with her.

Certain foods, like good NYC/New Jersey style pizza, lasagne, cheeseburgers, Texas BBQ, Philly Cheesesteaks, a good Steak, Broiled Swordfish, Sushi, a good deli sandwich, Cannolis.

A good cup or iced coffee.

Watching a good new or old classic movie.

Watching the sunset at any beach. Eating seafood on the water.

Seeing the San Antonio lights landing there to visit, and eventually for the last time when we move back.

It is always good to be able to be someone for somebody, and I think that is the greatest feeling in the world, and while take this for granted, others maybe lost that feeling.

Ah the words of a true "pipe and slippers man" So when did your "little fella" stop working?

  • What gives me pleasure, is to wake up every morning after a good sleep, and have no pain! That is a good start on a new day! Everything else is bonus, and my biggest bonus in life is my wife, and eve

Yeah, it is still a normal part of life. I just wanted to talk about other forms of pleasure for a change. No pipe and slippers yet. 😉

All sounds wonderful, and I can really relate to the simple joy of playing my favourite old music to the Missus on road trips and seeing what she likes.

She's now a fan of Fleetwood Mac, Stereophonics, Tracy Chapman, Sade, Guns n Roses, Linkin Park, but she couldn't get into Floyd, Led Zeppelin or Jethro Tull. I also like some of the Thai R&B she plays, but Thai rock or rap is the worst!

Turn her onto Enya. I'm thinking she will like her voice and music, as she's another my girlfriend likes. I was turned onto her by an ex girlfriend, and I think she's the best female singer alive.

Seeing my children respect the law, elders, their friends, family and animals makes me smile, as I know it's something they learned part from me. Also their love for music, the outdoors, exercise and healthy eating.

It is called Wobble Technology by Samsung.

Why.

Is wobble better than agitate to describe the action?

Just have this one here. My others are 42, 40, 37, 34 and 30. All in the US.

Who are we to question Samsung's wording. If they want to wobble, then let 'em.

I suggest that you look the two words up in the dictionary;

As an example you aften agitate people on AN but very few wobble at your posts!

😂

It seemed like the op was thinking about you when he was composing the post and he sort of nailed it perfectly. Glass half empty, huh? Laxatives might help alot.

In your opinion, which bit of his multifaceted post, nailed what, regarding myself?

Do you not see some of yourself in the OP ?

Maybe a little only in a sense that my political posts tend to irritate true devotees of Don, but I certainly make an effort not to make my insults personal, but rather keep it confined to incredibly toxic individuals like politicians, and fraudsters, scam artists, and that kind of gutter ilk.

For me-as far as the forum is concerned,is sticking up for and defending what in my view my country stands for.It in a way gives me a wider voice + commenting on other stories within our asean now forum thanks forum creators!!as to life in general #1 family a child’s laugh and curiosity work and the feeling of accomplishment once the task is completed and most of all the drive and health to continue to do these things.trying to be in the now and taking the time to appreciate the beautiful things around us.trying to be mindful of others and their cultures guess that’s a product of being married to a Thai and my upbringing cheers!!
