He might have been in the process of losing his fortune and entering the workforce and starting over again was too much to handle. I could understand that feeling.

Because 15 million is nothing in Monaco and tight in a place like Singapore ?

Thailand is actually a good place to be if you fairly young and you have maybe 10 million.

People start throwing large sums of money into real estate.

And vultures swoop in if things go wrong.
