Maybe they should start with building a national immigration app, so that everything is connected and it is not needed anymore to give copies of passport with every form you fill in. They could see in the app everything. And it would work much easier

When was the last time you had to showe 5 copies of your passport to border security?

Still no criminal record check for long term visas. I am astonished at the number of scams some of the people in thailand i know have gone through.

I think he is talking about visa extensions at immigration offices in Thailand, where the red tape is truly remarkable, and results in waiting times of hours just for a 30 day extension of a Tourist visa.
