So true Mr . President ! If and when the tide turned and the UK ally needed help , America would be the first to step up! Goes to show what a weak appeasing PM , he is., as he cowers in the face of diversity.

My father who entered Britain by troop ship in September of 1944 and then joined General Patton's sweep through France and into Germany and Austria would agree with this assessment. He would be appalled by the leadership of a once great country like Britain.

Not even to mention sending "a plane". Takes the only carrier 10 days to get ready and their only warship cant sail because it has no ammo LOL.

Rule Brittania no more

Let's see who has won, shall we?

Trump has won, by distracting attention away from the Epstein files. He'll probably need a war with Cuba to keep the ball rolling.

Firms like Raytheon and Lockheed are winners, with quadrupled spending on bombs and missiles.

The Strait of Hormuz is closed. 20% of the world's oil supply. A torch for inflation -everywhere.

Americans are the biggest losers. More paper printing to cover the $38 trillion deficit. A war costing $800 million a day. Every smart investor is fleeing to gold and silver. Countries are shedding T-bonds like fur coats on a hot day.

It's always interesting to see how many posters subscribe to the Trump bullsh!t.

Trump is delusional and nobody in their right mind should ever believe one word out of him.

Who's the most dangerous man in the world today?

The US entered WW2 in 1941. The war started without them in 1939. I think the UK can wait 2 years more.

And when Russia invades the Americans can wait 2 years.

I think it's Trump.

I'll agree with the Germans.

They know a thing or two about most dangerous world leaders.

Germans fear Trump more than Kim and Putin

They supported Hitler due to stupidity. They hate Trump due to tariffs.

Germans were duped and they see what's happening in the U.S. as a repeat.

Iran was similar to Germany. Trump likes Jews. Germans hated them.

Sorry but I don't trust people related to Nazis.

Most Dangerous Man.

www.thehill.com/opinion/white-house/5646761-trump-second-presidency-danger/

It is easy to drift into alarmed hyperbole about Donald Trump’s second presidency. The guardrails and principled advisers who discouraged his authoritarian proclivities during his first term are no longer there. Without them, and with his advancing age, he has become the most dangerous man in the world.

Some in the hyper-muscular manosphere (the so-called secretary of War is one) may consider that a compliment. It is not. The person who currently commands the awesome weapons of the presidency lacks the temperament, mental stability and moral compass required for the job. The American republic and the international order are hanging by a thread.

Total simple minded garbage.

Iran is a theocracy.

Nazi Germany was fascist.

Fascists ALWAYS have scapegoats. For the Nazis, it was Jews. The maga fascists have different scapegoats though many of course hate Jews as well.

Some scholars, such as Maxime Rodinson, coined "Islamofascism" to describe the merging of traditional Islamic values with modern, totalitarian state structures in Iran.

Islamic fascists hate Jews like Hitler did. Iran has a Supreme Leader like Hitler. Hitler was friends with muslims.

The Iranian regime is characterized by totalitarian, religious ideology, mass arrests of dissenters, and violent crackdowns on protests.

Very very similar.

You mean like The Falklands?? Er, oh.

Starmer has proven himself to be a strong leader for standing up to the world bully and refusing to be dragged in to an illegal war. If only Blair had been as strong in Iraq.

He sat on his arse doing nothing. His country is near stuffed with 11 year record youth unemployment. The UK economy grew by 1.3% in 2025, with Q4 2025 growth slowing to 0.1%. Despite 2024 seeing a 1.1% recovery, growth remains sluggish, with 2026 projections lowered to 0.9%.

You've linked to an article you haven't read - well done.

And just more anti-Muslim nonsense. If he's chasing votes he is simply chasing British votes seeing as how 92% of Britons are against the UK joining in with this unjustified and illegal war.

Is that kind of like Mission Accomplished?

Pardon me for being Cassandra, but it’s a little early to declare it a win.

Iran was led by a guy named Khamenei. It’s now led by a guy named Khamenei. Qatari LNG is shut down. Saudi production has been cut. The Strait remains closed, even if ULCCs could fill-er up. Aluminum smelters have been shut in the Gulf.

WTI Crude is trading at $108/bbl. The silly Energy Secretary went on the Sunday shows claiming the oil price rise is just a few weeks phenomenon. How would he know that? Certainly the futures market has a different opinion. Trump says about oil up almost 80% in a few weeks that “it’s a small price to pay for defeating Iran”. Easy for a guy who gets a free airplane and free car and who has grifted $4 billion since entering office again, but for the average consumer, it’s a high price.

World equity markets have lost about $3,500,000,000,000 in value since the war began, adding in the expected losses today from pre-markets. Hard to call that a win, except for shorts.

Trump’s war of choice maybe got a minor respite from the Trump-Epstein Files, but that issue is not going away. Now 20 Republicans want to join Democrats and hold AG Bondi in contempt for lying to Congress. That means more Hearings, where hopefully they give her some Valium first. It seems there ARE allegations of wrongdoing against Trump. Besides, the Dow isn’t 50K anymore, and is down another 900 points in the pre-market Sunday night US time. Even Thomas Massie (R) wants to get to the bottom of those allegations of Trump raping a 13 year old. If Trump is innocent, he has nothing to worry about, so he should testify under oath (hint: he won’t). Anyway, MAGAs approve of pedophilia, it seems, as true MAGAs just want to move on from the crimes of Epstein et al, even though the guilty still walk free.

Despite Trump’s claims (aka lies) that the US has unlimited weaponry, Iran is bleeding it by using $20K drones. Israel needs an emergency funding package of another $700 million, which is in addition to the $21.7 billion in military assistance it has gotten since the start of the Gaza War. It’s kind of like expats who sponsor an Isaan bargirl….unlimited funding and the US gets nothing for it in return. Iran still has armed forces of over two million, and they can be unleashed in teams to carry out terror attacks in the Middle East and around the world for the next few years. Trump’s choice is to take them on in a ground invasion, which would be quite unpopular in the US and guarantee a wipeout for Republicans in November.

I guess one winner is Cuba, as the US is unlikely to have the forces and weaponry to invade them, despite the bone spurs coward saying they are next. Neither does the US have the ability to stand up to China should it decide now is a good time to take Taiwan.

The little fat guy in North Korea (as opposed to the little fat guy AN member in Cambodia paying for sex with young females) gets a free pass, because he knows how to flatter the woefully insecure Trump. Yes, Iran “Bad”, but a guy who executes schoolchildren for watching The Squid Game, and makes other schoolchildren watch the executions, is safe. He is the shining example to the rest of the world that having nukes means being left alone. Russia could boost revenues by selling nukes to developing nations.

So yes, it’s rather early to call this war a win. There is a perfect storm of bad news that will hit the US economy in the coming months. Oil is unlikely to go down anytime soon, exacerbating already high inflation. The jobs number were abysmal, and only made to look less bad because the Labor Participation Rate fell dramatically, meaning discouraged workers imply gave up looking for work. Economic growth is considerably below what Trump was handed by Biden.

Trump said in his silly SotU address that Americans would get tired of winning. Maybe that’s why Trump is handing out lots of losses now. Wouldn’t want Americans to get as tired as Trump and fall asleep in the middle of a meeting.

Europe took 70 years to pay back the Lend Lease debt and now ridden with high unemployment. Germany is the No 1 economy and they were the enemy lol

If it happens during the Trump administration, it would have played out that way anyway.

I fail to see how bombing, regardless of how extensive it is, can be a 'win' (maybe a temporary win or respite at best).

Bombing can only be a prelude to boots on the ground if there is to be a real win.

A real win will mean regime change or total capitulation and a treaty signed (for what it might be worth). The US are going to have to go in.

If the bombing stops now the regime will build itself back up and the cycle begins again.....(Gaza/Israel.....how long has that been going on)
