Does anyone know of reliable car rental firms in KK for pick up with full insurrance for a reasonable price?

At the airport are two agencies (Budget and Avis?) You may find the through the net and even reserve a car.

Around Sofitel Hotel are several car and motorbike rentals. Also on Sri Chan road, around Bankok Bank, which is all in walking distance.

I have hired cars from Khon Kaen airport on several occasions, the Thai Budget site has very limited selection of vehicles available.

I now use the following agency instead, godd service and reasonable prices.

A friend of mine rented a new Honda City from these people. He accidentally reversed into a tree. Quite a bit of damage. No problem. They just kept his 2000 baht deposit. No fuss.

Good information to have, thanks. I am looking at renting in Korat and saw the same web site as you listed.

It looks like they run their own business and are also associated with Budget Car Rental.

They are quoting about 1867 Baht per day for a Honda Civic, with zero excess coverage in case of problems. Sounds a little high, is that cost in line with other areas?
