Anyway, mass migration is an extension of colonization.

If western countries wouldn't have colonized and repressed these countries, their countries would not be broken and they would not be forced to migrate.

They would actually prefer to remain in their own cultures if their countries weren't broken.

Colonization is a big part of the reason why many immigrants come to Europe from countries that were once European colonies, along with post colonial conflicts and foreign interventions.

Mass migration is a complex issue.

And probably above the average person's head.

Just to call everyone "racist" is over-simplifying the matter.

Notwithstanding the arrogance in the suggestion that only a selected few can ever hope to comprehend the relationship between migration and racism, it doesn't take a genius to see the not so subtle, not so hidden racism implicit in the reply to the question posed (see below)

The knee-jerk reaction of most people might be racism, but racist or not, it doesn't change the fact that mass migration can lead to problems.

The dream of some to restore Britain to a white, Christian only nation surely founders on the data.

Intermarriage Rates by Ethnic Group

According to longitudinal research published in journals like Population Studies and the Wiley Online Library, the percentages of second-generation minority individuals in unions with a white British partner break down as follows:

  • Black Caribbean: This group has the highest rates of intermarriage. Roughly 40% to 50% of second-generation Black Caribbean men, and around 30% to 35% of women, form partnerships with white British nationals.

  • Chinese and Black African: Second-generation individuals from these backgrounds show intermediate rates, with roughly 20% to 35% entering interethnic unions with white British partners. Chinese women are historically twice as likely to intermarry as Chinese men.

  • Indian: Rates of intermarriage have risen gradually with generational change, particularly among highly educated, UK-born individuals. Approximately 10% to 15% of second-generation British Indians are in interethnic unions.

  • Pakistani and Bangladeshi: These groups maintain the lowest rates of exogamy. Due to a strong cultural preference for endogamy (marrying within the community), only about 4% to 8% of second-generation British Pakistanis and Bangladeshis partner with white British nationals.

The Third Generation and Beyond

By the time immigrants reach the third generation, the data changes dramatically because many individuals are classified directly under "Mixed or Multiple ethnic groups" on the UK Census. ONS census analysis reveals that 85% of people in the Mixed ethnic group are in interethnic relationships—most frequently with a white British partner. As a result, the third generation has the highest rate of total integration into the majority population.

Key Drivers of Intermarriage Rates

  • Generational Status: Being born and educated in the UK increases exposure to majority social structures.

  • Geographic Concentration: Minorities living outside of highly concentrated ethnic enclaves are far more likely to marry white British nationals.

  • Educational Homogamy: Higher educational attainment in the second generation strongly correlates with higher intermarriage rates, particularly for British Indian and Chinese individuals.

But never mind eh Jonny, by your own arguments put forward by you in this thread, while English Jews who’s community have existed in England since the late middle ages don’t meet your ‘English Ethnicity’ blood purity criteria (itself nonsense construct based on a denial of the facts of English history), they can at least claim to be English on paper.

Now all we have to determine is do you believe English Jews part of the ‘ethnic erasing’ of your ‘true blood’ ethnic English?

Still no quotes to back up your claims about what you are claiming I said? 😄😄

All of that plus invitations to the people of former colonies to come fill skill and manpower gaps:

Irish Labour Recruitment.

The recruitment of people from the Punjab and Pakistan into the UK to work in the post war weaving industry.

The British Nationality Act 1948 drafted to give common wealth citizens the right to live and work in the UK.

In the immediate aftermath of BREXIT the UK imported workers from India and the Philippines to fill positions vacated by EU workers.

The practice of the UK actively importing foreigners goes back further, the import of Flemish weavers in the 14th Century, Elizabeth 1st importing Dutch and Flemish to rescue the collapsing economy of Norwich, and Germans to work the metal mines in Wales and the Lake District, and of course the import of Dutch to drain the fens.

All of these imported foreigners established communities in the UK.

I would wager 90% of the immigration problem in the UK is mass migration of Muslims due to their perceived reluctance to integrate/intermarry. Plus their high birth rate means a rapid increase in population.

Chinese, South-East Asian countries, Christian African countries, the Caribbean, Indians- many of these people or their children intermarry and/or integrate into British society.

So remaining are Pakistan and the Muslim countries of North Africa and the Middle East.

A look at the history of Pakistani migration to the UK:

The history of Pakistani migration to the UK is primarily a post-Second World War phenomenon rooted in British colonial ties, post-war economic demands, and major infrastructure displacement. It has transformed a population of around 10,000 in 1951 into a deeply rooted community of well over 1.1 million people, forming the second-largest ethnic minority group in the UK.

Pre-Independence & Colonial Origins (Pre-1947)

  • Early Seafarers: In the 19th and early 20th centuries, small numbers of working-class men from regions like Punjab and Kashmir arrived as lascars (sailors and engine-room stokers) on British East India Company merchant ships.

  • Port Settlement: Some of these seafarers settled permanently in major port cities like London, Liverpool, and Cardiff.

  • War Contributions: During World War II, hundreds of thousands of soldiers from the territory of undivided India that later became Pakistan fought alongside the British Army, laying the foundation for future physical and cultural ties.

Post-War Labour Shortages (1950s–1960s)

  • The 1948 Act: The British Nationality Act 1948 granted Commonwealth citizens the unrestricted right to live and work in the UK to help rebuild the war-torn British economy. [

  • Industrial Recruitment: Young Pakistani men, largely from rural Punjab and the Northwest, moved to fill heavy manual labour gaps in textile mills in Lancashire and Yorkshire, car factories and foundries in the West Midlands, and London's transport system.

  • Professional Migration: Simultaneously, the UK directly recruited highly educated Pakistani doctors and nurses to staff the newly formed National Health Service (NHS).

The Mangla Dam Displacement (Late 1950s–1960s)

  • Mass Influx: The single largest regional catalyst for migration was the construction of the Mangla Dam in Azad Kashmir during the 1960s.

  • The Mirpuri Diaspora: The project submerged vast areas of farmland and displaced over 100,000 people. Supported by compensation money and assisted by British contractors, thousands migrated to industrial UK towns.

  • Demographic Shift: Today, an estimated 60% to 70% of British Pakistanis trace their roots back to the Mirpur district.

Legislative Changes & Family Reunification (1960s–1980s)

  • Immigration Restrictions: To curb non-white immigration, the UK government passed the Commonwealth Immigrants Act 1962 and the Immigration Act 1971.

  • Ending the Sojourner Myth: These laws restricted work visas, creating an unexpected counter-effect: instead of coming to the UK temporarily to send money home, workers quickly brought over their wives and children to prevent permanent separation.

  • Social Struggle: During this era, the community faced fierce racial hostility, institutional discrimination, and localized violence, which led to the creation of tight-knit cultural clusters in areas like Bradford, Luton, and East London.

Growth, Integration & The Modern Era (1990s–Present)

  • UK-Born Generations: By the 1990s, the demographic flipped from a community of first-generation immigrants to one dominated by British-born citizens.

  • Diversified Fields: While the early generations relied heavily on manufacturing, transport, and family-run retail, younger generations transitioned heavily into British politics, law, academia, sports, and entertainment.

  • Ongoing Pathways: Modern Pakistani migration to the UK continues under updated parameters, heavily shaped by students pursuing higher education, skilled worker visas, marriage/family sponsorship, and humanitarian protection.

At least the third generation of female Pakistani immigrants are increasingly integrating into the UK workforce rather than staying at home like their grandmothers:

The Educational and Professional Surge

The third generation (those whose grandparents migrated to the UK) is transforming the professional profile of the British Pakistani community.

  • University Enrolment: There has been a massive surge in young British Pakistani women entering higher education, with university enrolment jumping roughly 40% in recent years.

  • High Occupational Aspirations: Research indicates that young British minority women, including those of Pakistani heritage, routinely "aim high" and hold ambitious professional aspirations for corporate, legal, medical, and public sector careers, often outstripping majority groups in their career drive.

  • Shift to Middle Class: The community has steadily shifted away from the low-skilled or family-business reliance of the first generation toward corporate, healthcare, and public sector roles.

How about Bangladesh?

The level of integration among Bangladeshi immigrants and their descendants in the UK is highly successful in terms of education, civic participation, and British self-identity, though the community still faces significant structural challenges regarding relative poverty and economic mobility.

While the first generation of immigrants—predominantly arriving from the Sylhet region in the 1960s and 1970s—often lived in tightly knit geographic clusters and faced severe language and economic barriers, subsequent British-born generations have experienced rapid social mobility. Today, the integration of British Bangladeshis is best understood across several distinct dimensions:

Education and Social Mobility

  • Academic Success: British Bangladeshi students have achieved remarkable educational turnaround. Once lagging behind, they now regularly outperform the national average and many other ethnic groups in GCSE results and university progression.

  • Generational Shift: While older generations frequently worked in factories or the heavy catering industry (establishing the UK's famous "Indian" curry houses), younger generations are rapidly moving into professional sectors like law, medicine, finance, and technology.

Identity and Culture

  • Strong British Identity: Academic research indicates that British Bangladeshis exhibit a very strong sense of belonging and attachment to the UK. Most British-born descendants overwhelmingly identify as British, Londoners, or Scottish alongside their cultural heritage.

  • Cultural Synthesis: Rather than entirely abandoning their roots, the community practices "acculturation"—blending British norms with traditional Bengali and Islamic values. This fusion is highly visible in hubs like Brick Lane in East London.

Political and Civic Engagement

  • Local and National Leadership: The community is exceptionally well-integrated into the British political fabric. Notable examples include Rushanara Ali, the first British Bangladeshi MP elected to Parliament, and Lutfur Rahman, the Mayor of Tower Hamlets.

  • High Voter Turnout: British Bangladeshis maintain high levels of registration and participation in local and national UK elections.

Persistent Economic Barriers

  • High Poverty Rates: Despite educational breakthroughs, the community historically experiences some of the highest relative poverty and low-income rates among ethnic groups in the UK.

  • The "Insular Bubble" Debate: Because a vast majority of the population is densely concentrated in specific urban pockets like East London, some social critics and older first-generation pockets point to lingering language barriers or localized "bubbles" that can slow down broader social mixing.

So have some areas of the UK lost their British identity? Undoubtedly:

which towns and districts in the UK have a majority of muslims over British white nationals? - Google Search

The London Borough of Tower Hamlets is the only local authority (district) in the UK where the Muslim population outnumbers the White British population.

Districting and Local Authorities

While several UK cities and boroughs have become "majority-minority" (where the combined total of all ethnic minorities outnumbers White British residents), the specific comparison of Muslims vs. White British nationals reveals only one macro-district flipping the majority:

  • Tower Hamlets (London): According to the census, 39.9% of the population identifies as Muslim, whereas only 39.4% identifies as White British. This makes it the sole local authority where the Muslim population is the largest single group over White British nationals.

  • Newham (London): Newham is incredibly close. The borough has a 34.8% Muslim population compared to a 30.8% White British population.

  • Other Notable Districts: Areas like Blackburn with Darwen (35% Muslim), Luton (32% Muslim), and Bradford (30% Muslim) have high concentrations of Muslim residents. However, their total White British populations still remain higher than their total Muslim populations at the district level.

Specific Towns, Wards, and Neighborhoods

When looking at smaller sub-districts, towns, or electoral wards rather than entire city council areas, there are numerous neighborhoods where Muslims form a distinct majority over White British residents:

  • East London Wards: Within Newham and Tower Hamlets, specific neighborhoods have definitive Muslim majorities. For example, the wards of Shadwell (59%), St Dunstan's (57%), Stepney Green (56%), and Plashet (55%) possess populations that are over half Muslim.

  • Birmingham Neighborhoods: While Birmingham as a whole remains 43% White British and 29.9% Muslim, specific sub-areas like Sparkhill North are almost entirely composed of ethnic minority residents, with Muslims making up the vast majority over White British nationals.

  • Northern Mill Towns: In specific pockets of towns like Oldham, Blackburn, and Burnley, certain highly concentrated neighborhoods or electoral wards feature South Asian Muslim populations that vastly outnumber the local White British demographics.

Can white British nationals accept these 'enclaves', streets and whole areas where whites are a minority?

Accept that Indians and Pakistanis will always speak their own language at home and may support the England cricket team except when they're playing their 'home country'?

Over 85% to 91% of school children in East Ham (London Borough of Newham) belong to minority ethnic groups, making it one of the most diverse areas in England. The local school population is predominantly made up of pupils from South Asian (Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi) and Black-African heritages

Additionally, up to 80% of students in some of East Ham's neighbourhoods speak English as a second language, significantly above the national average

If Macron isn't trolling us with his all black African descent team, then what's going on in France?

Are most of these players kids who grew up in the "banlieues" in France? Were they mostly from poor backgrounds? And are kids from these poor backgrounds excelling more at football because they don't go to school and play football all day or is the French government actively pushing these kids from the banlieues more in their football programs? Would be interesting to know how France is developing their players.

Platini was one of the all time greats, but all of a sudden only players of African descent can make the team?

And Platini was a star. But as I've mentioned, more than half the players on most of these teams are easily replaceable because they have mediocre talent. It's not that hard to build a team of diversity once the stars are chosen.

Factually incorrect on so many levels. Firstly, the individual is Dominik Tarczyński, an extreme right-wing MEP who (fortunately) has never been Polish MP.

Other falsehoods include the claim that Muslims in Germany do not pay tax. 80% of German Muslims are employed and st taxation. The logical fallacies that, 'Muslims commit the most terrorist crimes, therefore all Muslims are terrorists' and 'A Canadian Muslim says that Muslims want to take over the world, therefore all Muslims want to take over the world' are given implied airings in the video.

There is nothing wrong in posing the questions, 'Why do some Muslims fail to integrate into Western society?' and 'Why does crime seem to be more prélèvent amongst some immigrant groups?' but there is plenty wrong in making logically incorrect generalisations about ALL immigrants (Muslims) so yes, knowingly or unknowingly, I'd say that he's a racist.

Immigrants becoming the largest demographic group in parts of London is nothing at all new.

By example, the influx of European Jews to London in the 19th Century dramatically changed the make up and culture of London’s east end.

“By 1900, over 95% of the population of Wentworth Street (the home of the world-famous Petticoat Lane market) were Jewish immigrants. From the Victorian era to the Second World War the Jewish East End thrived, street signs were written in Yiddish, over 100 synagogues and small steibels were established in the area, alongside a bustling commercial Jewish center with a complex network of self-supporting interconnected Jewish institutions.”

This profoundly changed London’s east end and created the culture that many regard as defining the ‘East End’, which like all cultures inevitably changes again with time.

The answer is simple Raymond. The truth. I know it's a concept you struggle with.

Someone commented that most of the team were not English. I clarified the comment, I stated the fact that they were English in terms of nationality, but not ethnicity.
