Bee Removal
The Tessaban said they'll come after Songkran (they didn't mention a charge, but I'd imagine it won't be much), so I'll try to live in harmony with the bees for another week (which really hasn't been an issue until recently). If I'm home when they arrive I'll post some pics on this thread. -

Those of you who live on 40k a month
I'm not of that age, or of those meagre means, but imagine that 1,000 a day average for an older bloke with all assets owned, visa funds in the bank, a comfortable home in their name is okay, if they're a bit of a homebody. Say, weekdays relaxing at home with restaurant delivery for 500 per day, meeting friends in parks, at the beach, a cafe, then 4-5000 baht weekends would be comfortable for 70 year olds that are settled here and aren't interested in fat 50 year old bargirls. What do they need, one happy ending massage per week, per month? YMMV -

Top Putin ally taunts Keir Starmer and King Charles- threatening Brits with 'tactical nukes'
Others will possibly have other definitions but my view is that he has a delusion of his own, and Russia's, importance in the world. He wants to grow the Soviet Union back and he can't stand the fact that he's been frozen out of international relationships (except with fellow dictators and corrupt regimes in BRICS). He can only strut his stuff within Russia but, even then, he has to be careful where he goes. The only thing people take notice of is when he threatens to use nuclear weapons, and he only does that because he hasn't got any other tools in his box. The EU (we can exclude Hungary and Slovakia, for obvious reasons) want nothing more to do with him. He lost that gamble and Russia's economy is paying the price. He's now a political has-been with no route back. Eventually, Russia will realise that they are better off without him.
