Overloaded Pickup Truck Flips Backwards on Koh Phangan Hill, Two Injured
Not at all ! The front wheels under braking would have no effect . Have seen so many such vehicles braking into corners just to get steerage then back to front wheels tiptoeing along straight sections. More than one fails to corner and embeds itself in barriers, ditches, and at times some ones house ! Thats if the back axle or wheel bearings designed for 1 tonne laden weight give up under 5 has not happened first. ! -

If a UK pension is spinning a yarn where he or she is living to receive more money from the UK government from his state pension while living in Thailand is not helping the cause of pensionists that tell the truth and suffering from it. I have seen a few fraudsters on this site bragging of their success . Shame on them -

Not sure what this has to do with the big tobacco moving across to big food. As for Australia it does have a pretty good health care system but it's not perfect. As for the "loathsome leftist Australian government" they to might feel the wrath of the voters come next year. Racism or "just" bad behavior at Pattaya City Hospital?
I have.. The people of Thailand are generally wonderful and welcoming, however, there are the 'odd few' who have an issue... One such person is one of the officers at the DLT (Area 3 Bangkok) - while not offensive, she was less than indifferent, to the degree that it was clear she did not like 'Foreigners' (Westerners). - While at the DLT going into the 'test room' she told me I couldn't take the test as I was wearing shorts, ok, "no problem, I have trousers in the car and can change"... "But what about the 3 Thai guys in the room also wearing shorts that you have ignored ???"... OK, ok... "you do the tests"... to which I replied.."No, I'll go and change into trousers"... ... So there I was, in trousers after she complained that I was wearing shorts and couldn't do the test, while 3 Thai guys were wearing shorts right in front of her... She wasn't best pleased with that.... As I said, not rude, but obviously took disliking to me, or dislikes foreigners in General.... ... It happens... but 99% of encounters here range from normal indifference to extremely positive. -

it’s only been classified as a benefit for a few years, since the government craftily changed the wording, forgetting to mention that the state pension is payed for out of the N.I. Contributions- 1
