Good Call SBK! :o

Don Omar is already legend in the reggueton/dancehall circles.

As a bartender in Guatemala, I initially didn't like the music much.

Due to punter-pressure though, I eventually started playing a lot of reggueton during the busier nights.

Honestly, if you've ever seen Latin American ladies and girls dancing their booties off to this, you'll love the music long time.

It's not dance, but well worth a listen.

I brought the C.D. back from Oz a week or so ago.

There are literally thousands of Reggueton/Dancehall-based tracks.

Some standout tracks that I accumulated while in Guatemala (going back a couple of years now) These folks and these songs were the biggest crowd pleasers between 2004 - 2006 :

Don Omar

- Regguetton Latino

- Dale (Dale don Dale)

Daddy Yankee

- Rompe (this is excellent)

- Gasolina (da me mas gasolina)

Wisin & Yandel

- Rakata (perhaps (with Rompe & Gasolina) one of the biggest Reggueton successes.)

- Noche de Sexo

absolute classic

Sorry but 'Marvin Gaye' & 'Classic' = 'I heard it through the grapevine'. Tingly things :o

absolute classic

Good call. Marvin is the man. I just got hold of the Deluxe Edition of 'What's Going On,' which has the alternate 'Detroit Mix' of the whole album. Amazing to hear what it might have sounded like without all the overdubbing and 'ethereal' effects of the original release - much more raw and heavy. I'll always prefer the original, but this was a real treat.
