Bars In Mukdahan / That Phanom

Featured Replies

I visit Muk on a regular basis - my wife is from a small village 40km north of Muk, 20 km south of That Phanom. I really enjoy the relaxation up there, and do not miss the big lights or "creature comforts" of the big cities. But I do miss the odd evening out in a bar, where everyone is up for a laugh.... thai or farang men or ladies doesn't matter, as long as they speak a bit of pigeon english. I'm not looking to pick up a girl - although I do not mind "pick up" bars so long as they happy not to be "picked up" if you get my drift......

I have heard of a place near Ploy Palace in Muk..... anywhere else?
