October 8, 200718 yr Hi! I'm having a home decorating crisis: having trouble finding picture hanging hardware! I've asked at my local Home Pro, but all they could show me was a package of nails. Does anyone know where else I can check? Maybe a framing shop? (And to complicate things, most of the walls in my apartment are concrete!) Thanks for any suggestions!

October 8, 200718 yr Are you in Bangkok? I managed to find picture wall hooks and wire at Habitat in Siam Discovery Center. But like you I also have cement walls which seems to be the norm for condos and new houses. I had to get a drill to make the hole so it turned out the picture hangers were pretty much useless so now have screws in the walls. For some of my lighter pictures like a 2 foot by 2 foot canvas I used 3M wall hooks (strong sticky back) and 3 months later they still hanging.

For concrete, you need a "vidium" drill. Easy to by, they have a red nose (before use). Assuming you have the tool already. Framing things, there is a shop near the Emporium. On the same side, going back towards On Nut, about 200m walk.
